Ok..finally its the end..my 2 cents..

It was an engaging , thought provoking , okayish drama but nothing extraordinary . The bar of paki dramas of late has been low so this one is better ..it wasn't ott illogical bakwas.. Some of the aspects didn't make sense and I lost connect midway.. specifically , after mehreen and aswads wedding..I skipped a few epis also.

The last epi was really underwhelming..I don't have a problem with mehreen forgiving aswad. She is weak, down , out from a major trauma ..its unfair to think that she can be on her own and rebuild her life so soon . N then aswad apologized (in whatever bakwas way) . But mehreen distributing forgiveness like candies was Her mom, nani, mami , mamu..😆 cmon , they could have realized their mistake and come to mehreen for forgiveness .

I was right, mehreen is magically cured . Her trauma anyways didn't make any sense , since she made up with mashal just before her death . This was one of the sour points of hkkst. Everyone just kept quiet till the 2nd last epi..story could be better .

That being said , mahira did a wonderful job as mehreen. I was rewatchig humsafar these days and I always loved her..kubra was equally great..usman now needs to do something really good to come to my fav list..

This show was good... It had it's flaws but not dragging it to 30 episode mde it look very good n I loved all actors here even senior actors left impact...

I think mehreen was in trauma when she realised mashal didvsuicise to ruin her life... When she realised it wasn't a suicide she was cured of her trauma...

With all the flaws I loved the show because of the message it sent.

We speak venom about other family members or relatives in front of the kids without knowing what is happening in their little brains..and finally we blame the kids for being rude or insane..

I agree..also, when a person hears only one side of the story , they start believing it , like aswad.. . I liked it ke thy gave it a happy ending

Random thoughts..in SH this week, aamna defended the ending while Hassan objected..

There is a diff in being dumb , misguided , kaan ka kacha, and being am abuser by nature ..aswads punishment was his guilt and his redemption was that he had to give mehreen a normal life . Its not about women forgive easily or men get away ..everyone needs support ..its easy to quit but to what extent ? How good is it to live a secluded life and punish those who wronged you? I believe if a person can't forgive then they don't know anything about love.

I loved amna for sticking to her guns and really making it clear what she thought and why.
