Did Sooryavanshi outright demonise Muslims in general? If yes, then its wrong. But this fugly troll Ayyub called The Family Man Islamophobic since it had a love jihad angle.

No...it also showed a bunch of Muslims praying in a mosque jointly help the Hindu priest to secure a Ganesha idol from nearby temple when police was evacuating the place coz of bomb scare. Everyone worked in harmony..

Honest muslim police officers too..even in Family Man...not that the religion of brave officers who work for our safety n security matters..but bigots need to be told.

Everyone trolls Ayub on Twitter. Like I said, nobody has much time for Ayub or her apologists who are mostly brainless and unemployed so they have all the time to suck up to her. There is an honest cop Salim in Sarfarosh also. And a friendly Muslim guy in Gadar who helps Tara reunite with Sakina and shelters him at his home.

Yet modern bloggers and Twitterati keep bashing these films for being anti Pak or hyper nationalist. Kunal Kapoor in RDB and SRK in CDI are also patriotic Muslims and socially aware. Kajol in Fanaa is patriotic Muslim even as Aamir is a terrorist. Sanjay Dutt is patriotic Muslim in Mission Kashmir while Hrithik is a militant. So IDK why this charge of 'Islamophobic Bollywood' is thrown around so casually.

If Sooryavanshi has Muslim cops and protective, helpful Muslim characters as well then there is no reason to call it anti Muslim film.

All sorts of people exist in every community in real life.

Rohit Shetty has shown a Hindu godman as villain in Singham 2. Was he anti Hindu then? It is all baseless criticism.

I watched the movie and there was nothing remotely anti-islamic in it -unless you consider being anti-Pakistan is being anti-islamic!

The one that kills the wife and the other gang were all Pakistanis. All the bad guys were from Pakistan and even they were shown as more grey than complete black.

The good Muslims did everything a good citizen is supposed to do and were shown to be pious Muslims as well as nationalists. They help their neighborhood brethren like a good citizen/good Muslim is supposed to do, in securing their Ganesha Idol in the time of a calamity - One of the best goosebump inducing scenes I got to watch in the recent times with the ‘chodo kal ki baatein song in the back ground’.❤️

They did not ‘other’ their own countrymen. ALL the Indian Muslims were shown to be pious, law abiding and nationalistic individuals. It’s the people who hailed from Pakistan and settled down in India to take revenge for their kin dying during the 1993 riots, who were shown in bad light.
