I guess the word tragic was used in a general or wider sense as something bad happens at the end of the party... Nothing like 'life altering' kind of tragic.

Unless being in the cold for a long time causes problem to her voice, it is implied that her mother lost her voice after the trauma of being cheated by Mukul.

If that happens how will Hans manage 😈

Excellent point on if her voice is affected how will Hansika be able pull off her singing. I just hope Purab gets to Thapku before midnight otherwise Hansika plan to be with Pursb at midnight will happen

No .she hugs him and says happy new year purab andthen lights switches on and she is shocked to see waitor there.
