I'm gonna flip like Vanraj today to admire the brother-sister duo. Two fine actors doing their job so well.

I still feel the adopted angle wasn't needed for Anuj's own character dynamics but ab kar hi diya hai toh....in a way Anuj and Anu have both been the same. Sirf farz ka kaam karte gaye; never played the haq game. Ek apnon ke beech hokar bhi parayi thi and ek parayon ke beech rehkar bhi apna❤️Although a tad bit cliche for my liking, nice contrasts put up there👍🏼

Happy New Year 2022 to All 🥳

So its been ages since I have watched any show on ITV ..Even Anupamaa I got hooked on recently after all the hype surrounding Maan . But yesterday's episode was really one of the finest , especially since it came after what we thought were some dissapointing story telling decisions by the makers in form of Mukku and the adoption tracks .

Things I loved in the episode :

- Obviously Aneri and GKs performance - absolutely powerpacked !! Esp Aneri was too good in such a complex role and situation , not at all OTT and just the right level of intensity and emotions . GK of course complemented her equally

- The way Mukku ran sobbing in Anu's arms like a broken hearted child and Anu consoling her like a mother with a very clueless Anuj looking on ..Both the siblings need so much emotional stability , and so heat melting to see Mukku deriving it from Anu . The bond between both women will only get stronger and I feel it is mutual benefit for both - Anu can learn some street smartness from Mukku also besides the obvious benefits for Mukku in the new relationship .

- The "jaimala exchange " lollipop and shadi trailer :) ...Though I thought the bhabhi scene in previous episode was much more beautiful and spell binding

- Rupali's performance especially the emotions conveyed through her eyes , the blushing , the finer nuances shared with AK etc . The last scene where she lifts her eyes ..she's a mix of shyness , emotions , teasing and boldness at this stage . And this time her dress and makeup is just impeccable . Cant believe this is the same jhalli Monisha Sarabhai who we used to see a decade ago ...LOL

Some things I didn't really like

- GK Kaka being useless . In all of the drama b/w Mukku and Anuj , all that he does to diffuse the situation is say "Mukku , tu kya kar rahi hai ya bol rahi hai " !! And today he managed to blabber out the most imp info about the docs 🤔

- The banter after the mala . They are stretching the confession too much now , it was almost predictable as we knew there was going to be some interruption . Its making Anuj look bit silly and his restlessness to know was almost bordering on desperation toady(who would blame him after waiting for 26 years )

- the trio of Aneri , Rupali and GK are acting so well that all the other members are looking useless and unnecessary interruptions at this stage . Even Vanraj is also managing to look only constipated most times while rest are reduced to silly one liners .

All in all , lot to look forward to in next week . The confession I think should come soon now (its almost been 3 weeks since hospital dream sequence ) , I dont think it will come in park scene ...maybe makar Sankranti .

Also , btw if anyone has watched "This is Us " there are some similarities in the arc between Randall who is adopted and the storyline they are setting up for AK . Both are prone to panic attacks , have high sense of responsibility towards family , blame themselves for parents' death ...I think here also we will be exploring AK searching for his roots and birth parents kind of storyline and Anu helping him in getting some closure .

Anyway now for Anu as such there are not much issues to show in her life .So Anujs adoption storyline plus maybe a dramatic Riches to Rags story (though I hope not ) may be in store . Wont be suprised if Akshay makes a reappearance and there is some terminated pregnancy story somewhere ...

Also why would AK say Mukku and Vanraj would handle Kapadia empire !! I maen why...esp since 2 episodes ago you said that tiger never changes its stripes .... This was quite hard to digest and makes AK look like a big emotional fool , setting up the stage for Vanrajs comeback antics which look inevitable 😡

I just wanted to comment on this last bit.

Tbvh, I feel Aneri is not in the show permanently. She will exit at one point which means Mukku's character will come to an end. I feel she is here for a bigger purpose than just the drama, or to give an edge to Anuj's past and character, or to give something for vanraj and kavya to do in the show (cuz frankly they are useless right now)...

The purpose mukku serves in Anuj and in turn MaAn's life will be huge imo. So my theory is:

I feel like Mukku will reunite with Akshay, get pregnant and will die during child birth leaving that child for Anuj and Anu to raise. They will legally adopt the kid and be his/her legal parents. This way the whole Anuj being adopted comes a full circle. The Kapadia's adopted Anuj, and now Anuj (and Anu) will adopt a Kapadia. This way they can stretch this show more and bring in more drama, in turn more TRP. I strongly feel this might happen.. 😆

Hmm... The Adoption full circle does seem like a beautiful storyline though I don’t want Mukku to die ( at least not at this point ) !!

Or maybe they would have her end up with the terminal illness that the Bengali original of Anupama had for Rohit ( who is Anuj here ) . Have heard that in Bengali version , the sister is adopted , so they are sticking loosely to storylines . Here they wouldn’t risk it with Anuj cz of the character and actors popularity . So in a way she would play her part in uniting Maan , teaching Vanraaj a lesson and then go from their lives 😔....
Akshay story will definitely be explored I feel ..2-3 times they have dropped hint and seems there is something about him that Anuj is still hiding
