I agree that 3 idiots had its share of problematic scenes but dissing the entire movie just because it is not played by your favourite actor is LOL. The same set of guys write essays defending shit like DDLJ when it gets criticised.I agree that the speech scene was unnecessary and the same point could have been made without using the word balatkar. But if you put aside that scene, the entire movie was thoroughly enjoyable.3 idiots is revered even today because it resonates with what every Indian student feels and it will remain a timeless classic.
