@bold- You and me both . I finished my first attempt because I can't let the angst go. Around 1200 words I realized I will never submit it . So forgot about the prompt but ended up finishing it.

I am still not sure about fluffy nature of my second attempt 🤣. I just know it isn't more angsty as the previous one. Hence qualified .

Yep the + 500 words were a live saver for me too. My word count came upto 2100 and I tried to get it back under the limit even that was hard. If I had to cut back 500 words then it would be impossible from my side. 🤣.

Right now I think the angst is 70 percent and fluff is 30 in my story. In my first attempt angst was 95 percent 😆.

Dude, I wanted to smack myself upside the head when I realized that it took me nearly 1500 words for the couple, aka who this entire OS is about, to interact. 😆

I think I'm the worst writer on the planet, truly, and not even in a cute like "oh everyone's their own worst critic" kind of way, no I'm just really that bad and I'm still doing this. I'm giving myself like another 3 hours max before I lose my mind.

It happens 🤣. Our mind is working twice the speed to incorporate two prompts into the genre with a story. We need more words 😆. I knew I could add more to my story but the limit of words means I rather not try and end up with a editing problem instead.

Even I had no idea until google researcher in me searched and got the below lines 🤣

Fluff genre is simply defined as having an overall happy feeling to the work, and is the exact opposite of an Angst piece where the genre is defined as having an overall negative feeling.

Make what you want from it 🤪
