I think they made a mistake in breaking her marriage with Arjun, just to show her as a 'strong' woman. She would have emerged stronger if she had married and then got out of the sham marriage with or without Anurag's support.

This would have been an amazing plot line. That way they could have built up a camaraderie b/w Anjol before the romance. More importantly, it would have been more path breaking to show her boldly take a divorce and not let herself be judged for it and show independence

Playing the devil’s advocate here and despite the fact that I like Ishita and Karan’s chemistry, I think what you said would have been the smarter way to go. Now both Harshad and most of Ishita fans are not watching the show. CVs lost two fandoms which could have helped with the trps.

And why should they watch? To see Noina and Priyanka LOL. There isn’t even a proper love story till now and the show is about to end. So can anybody blame people for not watching.

I think another more probable scenario could have been Arjun-Kajol-Anurag. Turning Arjun into a sauve villain and letting Anjol’s story proceed. And Shreya there to keep an eye on Arjun.

But the makers instead chose to go down the vamp well and bring out one vamp after another without listening to the what the audience wanted and how the overbearing negativity got so much that it turned away almost everyone.

I actually agree being a Harshad fan who stuck around. I think a lot of Harshad fans did not even know he was back on tv. They should have kept the affair secret and used Harshad and Ishita to promote the show. Karan did not have such a huge fan base. And even the original choice Mishkat did not have such a huge fanbase as Harshad. They wasted his star power and acting skills. Another thing was they banked on only Ishita's star power and then massacred her Characterization. And now they are focusing on Anjol with Priyanka as kebab mein haddi whereas if Arjun were made kebab mein haddi it would have made better sense and gotten more views. Though Harshad has been getting a lot of negativity from us, his fanbase due to the fact that he has let himself go completely in the looks department. We still love him for his acting skills. And if he had been used to promote the show, and the affair had been kept a secret and thrown in our face later many would have continued. After seeing him as Zain and Adarsh, we could not stomach a sleazy Arjun who cheated with his bhabhi and betrayed his own brother and was trapping an innocent young girl in marriage just to hide that.

Arjun is a villain.thats why arjun kajol wedding wasn't shown.if anurag is introduced later the ahow will be bashed for showing EMA.

Arjun was originally supposed to be the lead. I thought he would just be a grey character and later on change himself. But they ruied his character completely

In the beginning the article said that harshad n ishita are the leads.just before the show started news came that he is the villain.Even harshad said in the interview that he is a villain.since they roped in a less famous actor as the male lead people hoped that harshad would eventually become the real lead.but nothing like that happened.so no idea about Fanaa.

Yes but the show Bhagyalakshmi is showing an EMA of the hero with his girlfriend and the heroine finally got to know just recently and audience started liking the hero a lot and only after the marriage was the truth revealed that all is not as it seems to the audience. Even in Anupamaa Vanraj was having an EMA. TSBTSP made a big mistake by bringing the EMA to light from the first episode. Bhagyalakshmi has a lot of parallels with the Original concept of TSBTSP.

The makers made the plot weak by not keeping any mystery. And Anjol though good I still feel even with a lot of romance going on don't give me a real romantic feel I am afraid. The spark as I have said is missing. Karan and Ishita's BTS are more organic to be honest. I think the makers are trying to portray them as star crossed lovers and what the BTS highlights is a fun loving couple. If their love was shown as cutesy then it would have had more impact on me. I look forward to their BTS together more than a romantic scene in the show because to be honest the actual scene in the show feels fake to me and I loved that BTS with that little dance routine in red churidar at the hospital.

Harshad's chemistry with Patrali was better. His chemistry with Jasmine is not that great either. The dinner date between Naina and Arjun might have been fun to watch for Naina blackmailing him but the seduction aspect felt forced I am afraid.

The show is going off air hopefully for me atleast because there are rumours that it might suffer time slot change only as it might take the slot of another show which is going off air. If this happens I don't know what the writers would do because they certainly don't have a real plot and just keep going in circles.

In BL the heroine did not know about the affair till now.as per the promo today she will know the truth.BL can't be compared to this show.in BL rishi loves his gf n was forced to marry lakshmi.he has no physical intimacy with his gf.but here harshad's character has affair with his bhabhi which is very cheap.only characterless people will have affair with their bhabhi.if they had shown him having a casual gf he wouldn't have looked like a villain n he could have been redeemed later.but kajol marrying someone who is lusting his bhabhi would have been pathetic.after marrying him if she starts liking anurag definitely viewers will say that she has EMA.

Have you seen Kora Kaagaz on Star?? I am not talking about redemption because as per me a cheater cannot be redeemed and I would never want a Heroine to go the Tejo way and Arjun and Fateh and Rishi from Bhagyalakshmi are all a sleaze because for me emotional cheating is cheating only just because you have not established a physical relationship does not mean that you have not played with a person's emotions. Forgiving the cheater is criminal in my opinion and I would have expected Kajol to divorce that piece of crap. but I am saying the CVs were idiots to reveal it at the beginning alienating an entire group of fans. And having a casual girlfriend and then marrying someone else to correct a problem in your Kundali to save your own skin. And use an innocent girl for your own benefit, it is not just Rishi who is a sleaze but his entire family who were party to such deception are horrible. I am sorry but I cannot condone archaic and unfair practices just because the so called hero looks good.

And if Anurag was her emotional support and friend even before the marriage came to an end it would not amount to cheating.

BTW I preferred the slap and breaking of the marriage than the alternative we are discussing here. It is just that the show was made a mess post Bishu's death and therefore many of us would have preferred the alternative of the marriage taking place rather than the horrible storyline that followed which butchered the character of Kajol so much that the show could not redeem itself no matter what.

Yes..whatever you said is true.but here the cheating level will be high.arjun will be two timing both if he had married kajol unlike the other heroes who like their ex n have not fallen in love with their wives yet.def arjun is worse than the other heroes.thats what I meant.there are shows where the ML fall for the FL when their wives are vamps.that time too they were criticized for cheating their wives.so if kajol falls for anurag after marrying arjun people may bash her.so makers didn't want kajol to marry arjun.no one wants the FL to marry a villain.but if anurag is only a friend till the marriage ends people will support them.
