Your obsession with tearing down the Khans is sad. I am sad that any film that a dedicated actor like Ranveer put his heart and soul into tanked, but it's even worse that you are making it a Khan issue.

But speaking of the Khans, I'd like to see who is ruling the roost at the moment as long as SRK and Salman did in their respective heydays. (Hint: no one). Heck, even today Salman's damp squib film films recover their production costs atleast.

Ahhh .. the nincompoops of BOI strike again. Whats even more hilarious is that people here are taking this amateur article as the ultimate truth just because it suits their agenda

BOI has been obsessed with "masala entertainers" for the past 5 years and any other type of movie being released is trashed by them. God forbid, if one of them becomes a HIT or a SuperHIT, and they expend all their energies into pulling it down as much as possible - prime example being Gully Boy, which was brought in here as well. Gully boy did excellent business, so they had to write 10 articles across the span of a month shouting about how it did not get the footfalls and its success should not be celebrated

IF BOI had it their way, we would be left with movies covering small town / middle class India where the director just makes light of the "social cause" they are trying to address by adding emotionally manipulative scenes. Or worse, movies like Simmba and Sooryavanshi with awesome jokes like "isne Ria ko malaria bol diya .. he he he he he he he"

That being said, I am a massive cricket fan - live and breathe this game. I watched Test matches ball by ball whenever I can (even watching Ind v SA right now as we speak)

I just was not excited to watch 83 at all from the trailers.

I really hated that brown/yellow filter they used in the frames, the caricaturesque performance of Ranveer as Kapil Dev (I love Ranveer) and just a lack of sporting spirit in the trailer. Maybe the movie is way better than the trailer, but that excitement which I got about watching Spiderman was just not there for 83.

Having consumed the highlights and replays of the 1983 world cup on youtube, TV and watched interviews of the players themselves, I just do not see how it would ever hold up to it.

To BOI the one and only thing that matters is money, specifically the money of those least able to spend it. The spitting and peeing in public male single screen audience alone decides what is good and what is bad - except, of course, if a film is doing well but they hate the actors/makers or the film itself in which case they will gleefully bash the audience buying tickets as well.

Why do you count Three stars as one? Will Kareena, Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor also come as Kapoors?

You need Three Khans to match One Hrithik who is junior to them 😆

Agar 1990s stars ki baat ho rahi hai toh Akshay is anyday bigger superstar than Khans right now
