That and I think Maya’s character wasn’t written well either. I wasn’t able to connect with Maya2. Something big was missing. I used to love Maya and empathize with her in Beyhadh. Not so much in Beyhadh2. But the male lead character in Beyhadh2 was much better and not a two timer like Arjun.

The goods part of Beyhadh2 were male lead and the BG song. Rudra actually had respect for his love and knew the difference between love and friendship unlike Arjun. Maya2 was lucky. Had a good childhood and found a genuine love than Maya1 who was unlucky from the time she was born till the end. 😭

I don't think Arjun was a two-timer in Beyhadh 1. He had a lot of flaws, but he never really cheated on Maya.

The story of Season 2 was not as full of twists and turns like Season 1, but I think Maya in Season 2 was much more humane compared to season 1, where she was just a murderous psychopath. Agree about the male lead in Season 2, he was good.

Maya 1 had a horrible childhood, but her actions weren't justifiable. She killed and hurt innocent people, couldn't behave normally when she was all alone with Arjun for three years. She was a revolutionary character though. She was the first openly negative female lead on Indian television. I just loved Jennifer for this role.

^ i saw Beyhadh 2 just for the few initial episodes. After that i got bored and quit. Did maya and Rudra got together in the end?
