I used to like Parineeti professionally and as a person but she is a really bad influence for people genuinely struggling with body shaming
It's not easy for everyone to lose weight
But still fugly. She was pretty in ishqzade
That's how most regular people's butt looks like. You've been brainwashed by Kardashians and Salman's butts.

Hi
@bold Why do you feel so? She is entitled to give her opinion it is how the shaming affected her if she believes she looked her best because of it that is a personal experience for her right so she should voice it if asked? I don't think she is encouraging it she is speaking about what it did for her.
@red very true but I think it is unfair to believe that just because they are actors they should always baato gyaan sometimes things don't need a deep dive they should be allowed to voice how they feel without feeling obliged to address the the social issues that it might/is bringing up sometimes its not the grounding/context for that kind of a conversation
I don't like it when these people promote the thin ideal. I think they should promote body acceptance and show that someone can be healthy at any size. Bollywood actors should be of all sizes but sadly not many role models accept their 'pleasantly plump' weightOriginally posted by: ExquisiteDhami-

She felt body shaming is great. Is that why she shamed someone else's body?
Look there is nothing wrong with wanting to look better and working towards it
But the way she phrased it is irresponsible
Acceptance should happen first that is when u truely love ur body and work towards making it healthier not skinnier …so then u do it the correct way by eating right food, eating adequate amounts of food, and working out with the right form and doing it regularly
When you hate ur body, u will resort to all sorts of unhealthy ways to “lose weight” (starvation, over exercising, inducing vomiting etc) all of which cost u health in the long run …because ur concentrating on getting rid of ur current state, not improving it
