On a serious note, if makers have planned a redemption track for Adi then it should be long and a well deserving one. They should take as much time in redeeming him, as they did in butchering him. Because, the things he is accusing Imlie of and the things that are unforgivable in his eyes are the things that he has actually done!

Imlie in a hotel room with Aryan in her wedding dress.... He and Malini on Adilie's marital bed.

Imlie ignoring Adi's warnings regarding Aryan... Adi ignoring Imlie's warnings and proof against Malini.

Imlie putting Aryan above Adi... Adi has always put Malini above Imlie.

Imlie ignoring Adi for Aryan... Adi leaving Imlie during KC, during chaat and long drive with Malini etc

Imlie refusing to come back to T house.... Adi refusing to let Malini leave T house.

Imlie choosing the rich Aryan over him... Adi not stopping AC call Imlie naukrani even after the JM night reveal

Imlie is not bothered that he is sad without her... he brushed off all her concerns as insecurity

Imlie refusing to let the mother of his baby stay on in T house... Adi refusing to believe Imlie that Malini shot herself got SK in jail.

Imlie happily planning his wedding.. He getting married to Malini.

When Imlie filed case against malini, he had blasted her because he got fired, BK lost his post in some community group, Radha and Aparna couldn't go to market, Rupi was mocked in office... and now he is sl*t shaming her in front of anyone and everyone

To me a thirty-something man suspecting his young wife on the barest provocation of his ex is not redeemable. There will be a time when he's older and Imlie remains comparatively young. What is to say that his insecurities— Aryan's wealth, position, beauty/ Prakash's age— wouldn't flare up in the future for some other colleague/friend/helper/teacher when he's 50 and Imlie is 32? Should Imlie never associate with any other man in her life, lol? Trust issues genuine reasons ke karan ho toh samajh aata hai. Here he's accusing her of sleeping her way up the ladder with a man she's met a few days ago. Matlab? Affair start Karne ke liye bhi time lagta hai.

Bold : This is what bothers me so much, his objections are based on the fact that she got praised over him and he doesn't agree with Aryan. Rather than the fact that Aryan pays more attention to her than the other interns. Frankly, Imlie's empathic piece on poor women's exploitation at the hand of men in their lives was much more eye-grabbing than Aditya's regular piece. That's what Aryan is trying to do to generate new readership. Aditya got butthurt without even reading Imlie's brilliant piece because she outshone him. That's not a supportive partner to me. All his warnings root from his ego that Imlie agreed with Aryan over him. He's time and again refused to take Imlie's differing opinions seriously.

Further, Aditya comes across as a very prejudiced and rigid person to be a good journalist. This comes across in the Bollywood actress track. What sort of journalist doesn't understand the role of art in society? He just went in with the preconceived notion that the actress would be a dumb bimbo. When Imlie corrected him, he again accused Aryan' of brainwashing her as if Imlie cannot think for herself. As I said elsewhere, the problem with their relationship doesn't come from Aryan or Malini at all. She should run from any man who expects her to agree with every thing he says.

But chemistry aur turu love ke naam pe kucch bhi jayaz hai.

Maybe aditya will redeem even malini will be white wash but after seeing everything the maker's are doing now to promote aryan and arylie i don't think imlie will go back to aditya (in my pov) As much as i know GK she won't promote a side character this much they even gave ost for arylie (villian ko kon itna important deta hai bhai). And i really hope they'll show a girl can move on from her toxic relationship and can fall in love again with a right person

And he has no idea where all he has gone wrong that, it didn't occur to him even once that he was such a bad husband that Imlie could ask for divorce because he had let her down royally... She burned the MS and wiped off Sindoor and left before Aryan entered her life, but because his best friend told him, he immediately believed that Imlie is asking for divorce because she is now interested in Aryan

It is a soap and if the writers want to twist the story and make Imlie go back to Adi, it can be done. It will be contrived and hard to digest but it could be done.

That said, should Imlie go back to Adi? No, not in a million years. That family is wack, Aparna was nice, not nice, back nice to Imlie. Introducing Malini as her daughter in law to all the guests when Malini had already left the house, never giving Imlie the respect she was due, treating her like a favorite maid apart, Imlie might forgive all this and look past the treatment she has received at the T household but as a viewer it is hard to reconcile to an Adi Imlie track.

As for Adi, he is a spineless jerk in my book, forced the young girl to be a servant in his house, literally uncaring of her dreams to study and make a career for herself. After developing feelings for her (which was wrong in my mind as he was wedding/wedded to Malini) the bandaid efforts to get Imlie to college does not hold much credence. He is an older man, well versed with the rights and wrongs of society, reports on them daily for his living and yet his behavior with Imlie from the beginning has remained atrocious. He is controlling and jealous, not a sign of love truly, and never trusts Imlie. He has committed bigamy, he has fathered a baby with Malini and wants Imlie to take care of the baby mom for his sake, he destroys evidence of Malini’s evil doings yet trusts her and accuses Imlie of wrong doing. Whether Aryan is right for Imlie or not, the fact remains that Adi is NOT right for Imlie. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Imlie never comes back to Adi or the T household again.

Hope you are being facetious. Paraya mard sounds a bit harsh. Are you talking about Imlie in the rain? Aryan had proved himself trustworthy by then. He has not shown one iota of being any kind of a molester. He saved Imlie from the goons on the road and took her home to safety and treated her with respect and not like a housemaid. She was given a guest room and treated with care by his sister and mother. Why would she not trust him and give her hand to him? The poor girl does need some support and help, she is a 19 year old in a big city and her ex-husband does nothing except blame her. He left the girl on the street in the middle of the night and took Malini for a ride instead. That man has shown zero responsibility towards Imlie when she was his wife.
