Idols have stopped actively promoting eachother's songs on SM..they don't even promote their own songs much..so not a surprise😆

SMP's new song came, Nihal's came, Aru's LHPC, guess Samyak also, and now Fursat..but didn't see other idols posting or promoting them. They must be tired of all the scrutiny.

Guess last they did was for Manzoor Dil..coz 3 of them were involved..and it was too big n event..first with Octopus. And as always your firsts r always special

Here's my take on who will sing the future songs if the series does indeed continue. I believe scenario 1 is less probable than scenario 2 as it might work out more expensive for Octopus.

Scenario 1 : Suraj Rosario holds greater sway in influencing Raj Surani. Less likely scenario I feel.

Possibility 1 : Neelanjana

Possibility 2: Anoushka

Scenario 2 : PD holds greater sway in influencing Raj Surani:

Possibility 1 : Pia Debroy (has collaborated with PD in the past)

Possibility 2 : Neha Karode (has collaborated with PD in the past)

Possibility 3 : Anandi Joshi (sang with PD on Satrangi Jhala Re, the song from the Marathi film by Mahesh Manjrekar) - genre-wise very similar to Arunita

I don't think so. The reels and videos were spread out across YT channel, Octopus IG and Raj Surani IG. As if now I am able to see all the reels and videos that I remember across these properties.

You forgot Sony also is part of this contract. I don't believe they will let Arunitha go so easily. Just wait and watch for how things will change in near future. At the end of the day Sony choose PD and Arunitha to be winner and runner up for a reason. They will definitely try their best to sort this issue and find a solution. We just have to wait and watch the fun.

Yes very true. You are right, this might be a tripartite contract.

But I am assuming that the cotract is for "up to 20 songs" and not "exactly 20 songs.". In that case, the 2 recorded songs already fall into compliance and nothing stops Octopus from starting a new contract with PD and one more singer.

No true Arunita fan thinks that Octopus has been fair with her. Even her singing has been repeatedly relegated to a support role by Octopus. They don't air those views but prove it by their actions. Arunita has a large dedicated and supportive fan base. Without their involvement presentations like Fursat will not find committed fan support and have to be supported by the general public. That is often a function of hype/overactivity created by fans.
There was no support by any Idol for this launch by Octopus. This is in contrast to the previous launch. May not mean anything but some would interpret it as a signal that whatever happened between Aru and Octopus did not go down well with them. If my information is correct then they have every reason to side with Aru.
So, I hope that for everyone's sake Octopus drops Arunita for good, even as a support singer. That would help them and Arunita as well. She does not deserve to play second fiddle in singing and does not need to act. The trolling would then stop and Octopus can focus on producing 20+ songs with fail proof plans.

So who are all these Octopus fans? ❓ Unfortunately we don't have any Octopus AT here to trace them. 😆🤣

Definitely they are not Arunita fans and also not real Arudeep fans who genuinely love both Aru and PD like the Arudeep fans here in IF. 😊 PD fans have no reason to troll Aru for her decision because PD is not dependent on Aru for his career. They are those who need a beating bag to survive each day of their lives. They are actually possessed by Arunita - they can't get her off their collective minds. But they hate the very thought. It gnaws at their mind (or whatever goes for a mind) every waking hour. Some are just parochial (based on Twitter posts) and some carry political bias based on geography. Most are, however, real trolls with multiple accounts whose only reason for living is to deal with their own frustrations. Some don't troll just Arunita. They may be trolling other mini or maxi celebrities as a whole time hobby.
Some of course are influenced trollers. The Octopus bandwagon. Al Fahim Surani did not become successful just by dancing and taking selfies with celebs. He has other things going for him and getting people to support his cause in SM is baya haat ka khel for him. (unless he is left handed 🤣)
Some are confused. That is the educated PD supporters. They really think that PD is better off with Arunita as a minor singing partner. They want to see him equal to 110. They don't troll but are anguished by developments and want a patch up. They support trollers with views and shares. They blame Arunita for everything.

But none want to see Arunita overshine PD in singing as a duo even by accident. So this template where Octopus cannot be imagined by them without PD requires a positive support by someone who will sing songs that suit PD's abilities as a singer. Arunita fitted that bill for them. There will be happiness all around if someone like her is found to support PD who is more comfortable with acting. (I can see Chetna getting ready 🤣) . Then the trolling will stop and PD can get on with 20 songs or more.
