Give ideas for damage control!

I decided to change the content of my post because it was going in the wrong direction. Also, Im very happy by nature and I didnt want to create a controversy about journalists vs. the people who call themselves media. Rest assured though, that there are many of us who take journalism very seriously. But I know that there are certain people who think that its a big joke and think that its ok to make up stories. So now, I want to make it positive and talk about the things that Karan can do to make it up to his fans across the world who are a little upset.

Ok, so the whole Aaj Tak thing has happened...now how is Karan gonna get back into everyone's good books? Obviously he should do some damage control...but what could he possibly do? Lets be his unnoffical PR agents!

I think that mabe he could go visit a children's hospital or something.

What would you suggest?

I don't think it's about insulting. It's just peopls speculating among each other.

And to be toatally honest...even I take journalism classes...and it is certainly true...that gossip news isin't to be trusted.

Added to that, I can definitely inform you guys that Aaj Tak has been sued a million times for cooking up all kinds of stories. It's also listed as one of the rumor-mill channels.

Saying that...I'm in no way proclaiming that the Karan issue was fake. It could be true.

As far as his PR thing goes, all parts of the media work hand in hand flawlessly so even though I was a broadcast journalist for FOX, I know a lot about the field of PR. And as far as you being a lawyer goes, you may be able to digest what people say about your field of work, I can not.

Poeple are a just a bit annoyied with the news thts it!Plus journalists do add fuel to the fire just to make a story interesting... n maybe the whole Karan walking off wasn't that bad as the jouralists made it seem... n it's just a point of view... its how ppl look at things...

I completely agree with you...What the media reports doesnt have to be untrue always...though i agree sometimes there are instances where for publicity or as u call them trps in india the channels do go over board sometime..

but Aaj Tak is a respected news channel..and I wouldnt think they wud talk about something when it dint happen...

As they say no smoke without fire...LOL

But I agree Karan has to do some damage control..and Fast !!!!

make an SBS episode where he tells how much his fans mean to him and that its the fans who r making the show a super hit and supporting them even though they make us go thru hell sometimes LOL!!!!

hmmm, although i still LOVEE Karan, i know a few fans out there are disappointed, and if anything, one sorry from Karan should do it. I know some stars go into a long story of how they were busy/frustrated that day but never actually say sorry. Saying sorry does wonders haha, i dont think this is a big deal but it will be blown out of proportion if something isnt done
