Something is the matter with Bob's equation. He has stopped following Octopus and Raj Surani, and in turn Raj Surani has not tagged him in the IG posts - though he has separately tagged Pavan in addition to PavanBob.

Looking at the current situation 20 song thing doesn't seem to be happening..as guessed earlier it may stop 5-6. Unless Octopus really wants to pull it through..don't know if they r planning to rope in others..

I liked the pairing, I thought the overall Chemistry and body language was good and apt for the song.
Arunita and Pawan are both melodious and the song in their voices is very good.

We really do not know what happened in octopus.and it’s possible that there were certain scenes that were required in the original choreography that Aru may have been uncomfortable to enact on screen. They may have deliberately removed those kinds of scenes from the final output so that no one raises a finger at them.

I frankly didn’t like Aru’s brothers explanation on IG. There was surely no need to make such a statement. How can he say that they did not know that Aru had to act in the MV? Wasn’t it obvious in the launch itself that there was going to be shooting in Kashmir or some cold places and that’s why Aru had the winter look. If they were going to do HR kind of studio version with microphone in hand then there is no need to go to Kashmir to shoot! I am not sure even after that big launch how in the world the family thought that they were going to shoot MV with no touching involved!! There is no social distancing when acting in MV 😃.
Her father said no touching even? Why did her brother have to write that? Obviously that was not the case all through Indian idol ! Why did they allow her to do all the stints in Indian idol? Why object now? I am glad he deleted all comments on Instagram. It was a lame explanation.

It’s obvious that PD even gets along well with Aru’s manager or whoever that girl is that went to Canada. There seem to be no issues in their personal equation and they seem to get along just fine as friends should.
Not sure what the issue is with Ashish. There seems to be some strain in that friendship. I hope PD and Ashish continue to collaborate as music composers. They make a good duo.

Definitely something more happened in octopus and that’s why Bob the choreographer didn’t even promote this song even though they choreographed it.

I am glad Aru took a stand and opted out at this early stage itself. It could be a combination of many things- hectic schedules in uncomfortable conditions and an increase in demand to show more closeness on screen. She is young and talented and she has no need to do something she is not comfortable with. Hats off to her for taking a stand and hats off to Pawan for continuing the project in a professional way.
Glad to see how these young people in the public eye are not letting negativity come in their way. It’s good that they are not active on social media.

I am in agreement with much of what is said here.

Certain circumstances triggered resistance. They with met with a response that made any settlement impossible. So, as far as Arunita is concerned, Octopus involvement would be a done and dusted episode in her life unless miracles happen. The price may be hefty (for both) but cannot be avoided now.

I am not going in to who is right or who is wrong. As fans we tend to see only what matters to, and finds favour, with us.

But Octopus will have to carry the show without her and her fans who have resolutely supported her through this period of turmoil.

If that makes business sense to them will be clear with the passage of time.

Still no update on Superstar Singer 2. I think Sony has changed the plan. IBD 2 will end in Jan that is within 3 months and India's Got Talent to replace it. So I don't think Superstar Singer will start before April/May 2022. That's why the delay may be and of course Omicron is a reason too.

Also possible that SRGMPA 2021 will be extended, now that they are getting 1.3 TRP!. They need The Content Team and the musicians.

Personally, I feel it is a better outcome if it is shelved or if some clause is triggered which allows them to exit. I would like all of these 5 to focus on their singing careers than on becoming "reality tv stars" - or at least the 2 out of those 5 because those 2 are the ones in whose careers I am most interested.

HR was way behind at 10 hrs. It is now moving normally.
Octopus zoomed and cooled off.
Different trajectories. Perhaps, a result of different types of fans/promotion impacts.

Incidentally, HR's song is also on the Trending list in my market.
