Arre, sab ke sab ek hi gaana gaate hai. Arre entertainment chahiye to achchi cheez dekho na.

Haan hai cliche, haan hai typical dramatic. Par thik hai yaar. It is a break from watching Aditya moving with a permanently plastered sullen expression, Malini hovering like Betaal across the Tripathi household, and Imlie crying for the nth time.

Aryan villain hai, bura hai, bhala hai, lekin inn teeno ko saath dekhne se jyaada better hai. At the end of the day, agar humari kategi to seh lenge. Waise bhi ITV sabki kaatne me hi apna profit kamaata hai.

Uff🤣

Hello Arylie fans!

I had to hop on here after seeing the new scene coming out with #JAANIYA because it was just THAT good. I needed a space to chat about them because holy cow how do I explain to the people in my life who don’t watch ITV that they also need to prioritize this lol.

I think many of us have super busy lives and I used to be a frequent user of IF in my highschool/ early 20s, the mid and late 20s have been nuts so I mostly just lurk to check up on shows I start watching and eventually lose interest in lol. All that to say, I started watching Imlie this summer and obviously had a lot of episodes to catch up on- and it was good: I wouldn’t have watched it otherwise!

But there is something just different about Aryan and Imlie. There’s a level of respect - not pity, coercion or sense of duty- that Aryan has always had for Imlie from the get go that obviously AKT didn’t have. Different circumstances and all that. But that respect translates across the board. The contrast of Imlie’s space in Aryan’s home vs AKT’s is so different.

I love their pairing, and it’s going to be a reluctant love, from both sides.

Aryan is going to fight it to the end, Imlie is too, and that’s what’s going to make this so good: a slow burn where they get to know each other. Fall in love AND get married (THEY BETTER GET MARRIED. WE DESERVE A FULL ON ARYLIE WEDDING). Literally cannot get enough of it.

I Truly enjoyed AKT & Imlie otherwise I wouldn’t have stuck around to watch the show but Arylie is just amazing. It’s renewal, a chance at growth and understanding that just because you love(d) someone doesn’t mean they prioritize you: you can’t always be someone’s backup or second choice- someone has to put you first and I think Aryan is that person for Imlie!

@libran90

Kya baat hain👏. I agree with you 💯 % though.

Like @libran90 said it has really been annoying to see people trashing Aryan for their favorite Adilie jodi. Aisa kya hai yaar in mein? Aryan ke entry se pehla show jo tha uss hisab se toh show ka naam Imlie se change karke KAUN BANEGI ADITYA KI PATNI rakhna chahiye.

Anyways back to some of my rants😃

Aditya toh ...ab kya batau shabd nahi hain mere paas. He thinks he is a full-on know-it-all, overly confident and I am right all the time type of person🤓. He also thinks that all his decisions are correct and no one gets to say anything about it. I don't think he loves and trusts anyone else other than himself🤗. He also likes to push his thoughts on others especially Imlie. I remember the episode where imlie had to choose which college to attend and she decides to enter Malini's college (in hindsight I knew this decision would come to bite her in the a**) - Aditya in that episode just forcing his opinion of attending the best college instead of Malini's. In that scene not only did he keep disregarding Imlie's decision but also disrespected Malini's college, the professors, and her.

This man's ego is like mount Everest 😒even when it comes to his profession. He thinks that his articles are world best, they only convey the truth to the public, his loyal readers only want to read those kinda articles from him, reporting on anything other than that would be degrading for his career and that he didn't become a reporter to write "bikau" articles? WHAT NONSENSE! Bhai agar articles/newpaper bikenge nahi toh tujhe paise kaun dega?

As I see it Aditya started to fall in love with Imlie when she risked her life for him in pagdandiya. That probably inflated his ego even more, that there is someone who is willing to die for me and will probably do anything for me. I think he definitely knew that Malini is not someone he can dominate over so his affection for her just died out.

Imlie's pagdandiya swagger is what attracted me to the show😎. The concept of Imlie's "I don't need no man" and her will to be a strong independent woman got lost in the "Pati, Patni aur Woh drama". The poor girl had to go through so much for a donkey husband and jhelav Malini, her mom, her real/not-real baby, and the useless Tripathi's. Kya dikhta yaar logon ko is Adilie relationship main?

Ab jab finally pata chal gaya hain imlie ko ki uska husband gobar se bhi gaya guzra hain toh Imlie ko ab move on karna chahiya. Definitely, time lage ga since she was married to him and was natural for her to fall for him. That's why Aryan's entry as someone who will guide her, teach her and be there as support whenever need be. Aryan ki entry ke baare main aur uske importance ke baare main bohot charcha ho gaee hain toh itna hi thikh hain.

Moral of the story is ADILIE ke rishte ko khatam hona chahiye because of all the reasons mentioned above. Imlie tbh should be focusing more on her studies and internship so that she can be strong and independent enough so that no man can treat her the way she was treated by Aditya. For ITV we know they will have a love track but I hope it's sensible and that they don't lose Imlie's life track in the making.

The writers have made their choice and it's clear. You don't take Aditya's character to this level and introduce a new love interest because you want Aditya and Imlie to end up together.

For Imlie, the divorce is no joke. She is struggling to accept it. She told Aryan a couple episodes ago that while she may not be okay now, she will be with time. The focus on her healing is a twist to the typical divorce, which is usually only presented as a "misunderstanding". The misunderstanding here has been downplayed and the focus is on Aditya's lack of trust.

If they wanted to use the Aryan and Imlie equation to bring "jealous Aditya" out and Aditya to his senses they could have done that. Instead an increasingly unhinged Aditya has revealed himself and is doing irreparable damage.

The most telling are the conversations between Imlie and her mother in which another fate is foreshadowed for Imlie, one of professional success and independence. And as some have noted, Aryan has also made his way into those conversations now as well.

Which is an anomaly in itself. Someone like Imlie who has been so wrapped around Aditya, whose source of dedication and inspiration is Aditya has given space to her "Boss Babu" in her conversations with her mother. Infact, she has drawn a comparison as to how she speaks like him. I don't think that day is too far when she will also see Satyakaam in him.

Surprisingly, she even thought about him when she was stepping into Tripathi house again. Which is even more of a surprise for me. It just explains that unconsciously Aryan has made way in Imlie's space effortlessly, that too by doing simple things - having uncomfortable conversations easily, being comfortable enough to express her pain and agony, being secure enough to cry in peace. Aryan has created that zone for her, where she is at ease to express her discomfort or displeasure openly, and he does not term it as her "ego" or "insecurity". He just hears her out and places his PoV and bam, all clear.

Aditya and Imlie were bound by marriage, coerced marriage, and the projection was Aditya is the victim and Imlie is the cause. Aditya was in pain and inflicted more pain on Imlie. He lacked empathy. Aryan and Imlie are bound by pain caused by a common source too, but Aryan doesn't project his pain on Imlie. Neither he is like it happened because of your husband. There is a set demarcation, which Aditya has never been able to enable in his relationships.

The bold. This is the point. Give me something good and I'm happy. That's it. And I gotta tell you the Aryan and Imlie dynamic is freaking bold. It redefines love and removes the stigma of "intimacy" that you often have in itv. Not only that. It manages to be exciting because of the insane chemistry. And it promises a true partnership. But sure, he's a villain, because there's no other reason for him to be kind to her.

Is it me, or do they have another kind of thing about them? It's like in their equation, only they know what they are talking about, no one else does. The way they know or see each other, I don't think any outsider can understand what exactly is going on between them. Just imagine, there isn't anything overt or even covert about them, but still, people believe ke inka chakkar chal raha hai. Hadh hai.😆

Lekin inke equation ki sirf ek baat sahi hai, that inka jo bhi back and forth hai na, isme hamesha ek privacy hoti hai, tamasha nahi ban raha hota all the time. Jo bhi hai inka hai. Nobody needs to understand it and they don't need to justify it, which makes the equation strong and intimate.
