Aryan-Imlie/ AryLie Discussion Thread, DT Note page 102 - Page 110

Ok so there have been quite a few discussions about Jaaniya since the time captain posted that clip. Some say it's AryLie ost while some are calling it only Aryan ost & saying it's gonna be unrequited love.

While I do agree it's Aryan ost for the time being coz as I had said before that his feelings are going to be strong kyuki yeh bande ka pehla pyaar hai. But I beg to differ about it being unrequited. To back this I have two scenes from yesterday & today's episodes.

1. Meethi-Imlie conversation that started of with Aditya being the center of the talk but ended with Aryan.

2. Today when Imlie was standing outside the T house she had flashbacks that started with Aditya but ended with Aryan.

So it's happening guyz. Ladka apni jagah bana raha h Imlie ke dil mein. It's gonna be subtle from Imlie's side & she's not going to be aware of it.

I just hope trp gets better or stays stable so that we get the female version too Lekin aisa lagta hai ab makers have made up their minds to continue with AryLie & they're not going to go back to Adi route.

The writers have made their choice and it's clear. You don't take Aditya's character to this level and introduce a new love interest because you want Aditya and Imlie to end up together.

For Imlie, the divorce is no joke. She is struggling to accept it. She told Aryan a couple episodes ago that while she may not be okay now, she will be with time. The focus on her healing is a twist to the typical divorce, which is usually only presented as a "misunderstanding". The misunderstanding here has been downplayed and the focus is on Aditya's lack of trust.

If they wanted to use the Aryan and Imlie equation to bring "jealous Aditya" out and Aditya to his senses they could have done that. Instead an increasingly unhinged Aditya has revealed himself and is doing irreparable damage.

The most telling are the conversations between Imlie and her mother in which another fate is foreshadowed for Imlie, one of professional success and independence. And as some have noted, Aryan has also made his way into those conversations now as well.

I think we may get the trip-fall-catch scene tomorrow – or Saturday, at the latest.

This thread is quite silent today. Libran and Moksha seem to be MIA.

This is so cute guys! Arpita and Sundar it is! Waise, what is Sundar's role in the show? The only few times I've seen him in the show since I started watching, he was helping people around the house. But he's quite impeccably dressed. So I couldn’t figure much.

@Exuberant_Soul, I had the same thought yesterday when I saw Sundar in the preview. Good job makers👏, finally we can see some Sundar masti with his real-life wife on-screen. Don't know if it will lead anywhere but I am excited to see it.

The thing that I am wondering now is how will Sundar meet Arpita? I hope its not at Adi-Malini wedding.. it would be weird to see Aryan's family at the wedding😕

Oh sweetheart, haven't we been seeing this since his entry into the show. Poor bugger hasn't even started his revenge and people are after his life because their oh so favorite AdiLie will get ruined, which, might I add, is already f**cked. Aditya is such a nalayak behuda aadmi that even if he comes to know the truth, had I been in Imlie's place I would have taken him to the mandap myself and got him married to that chibawli Malini. But no, people want his redemption, which is 1 year overdue, and then a reunion or die in each other's arms, yeah right.

Viewers want Imlie to be independent but come back to Aditya, they want Aditya's redemption and go back to Imlie, people don't want Aditya's wedding with Malini, because oh she is a rapist. Imlie's only true love is Aditya. I mean spare me, people. It is okay to have a life, it is okay to remain single and divorced, it is okay to move on, there is nothing called one true love because you can love more than once, it is okay to kick the arse of a man who wedded you and never placed an ounce of faith in your loyalty to the marriage. Why is it so difficult? Because its Gashmeer, guess what, I still feel like punching his face because being a good actor he has to play "Misery thy name is Aditya".

Unrequited my foot, I have seen unrequited okay. What Bajaj and Prerna had was unrequited in KZK2. Anurag did not sleep with anyone else, did not marry anyone else, did not mistrust the one he loved, even if he was a loser. He was loyal to Prerna in every way possible, so it is but natural to want Prerna to return to him. But KZK1, should Prerna have returned to Anurag, he married another woman, he mistrusted her, he had a child with her out of wedlock, he insulted his very own daughter, and after all that Prerna chose Bajaj, not Anurag.

Coming to Aryan, I don't see him as an unrequited lover. I don't understand why people just maintain that falling in love with Aryan will go against Imlie's core character of sticking to one man. Well news for you guys, the girl did not want to marry anyone in the first place. She wanted to study and give a good life to her mother. Instead, she chose to save that Behuda's life and he chose to use her as a punching bag to pour out his frustration, then suddenly he is in love, then suddenly he chooses not to put faith in his love, and suddenly he finds fault in her character. Is this some kind of a joke? The man is unreliable to begin with because he has no demarcations in his life. He is the gold standard for WTF. And still people want to see Imlie with Aditya.

And Gul is an idiot isn't she. She brings a character, invests in signs, invests in BG and OSTs, for unrequited love? They can't see the minute changes in her because of Aryan. Yes, she hasn't fallen out of love with Aditya, but her life isn't about Aditya anymore. It has included Aryan unconsciously where she always finds him having her back no matter what. She can speak her mind and he won't judge her. They are comfortable with each other because Aryan has created that sense of comfort in her. Aryan has given her security in confiding in him and not be judged or reprimanded which Aditya could not give. Love isn't about Piya Tose Milne people, it is about comfort, security, conversation. That has a different level of intimacy, which is less than love, more than friendship, and yet something very very organic.
