Why?

Because India is big BUT the world is bigger and the international film fraternity and cinephiles all over the world appreciate good movie making no matter where/who it comes from. Getting a chance to showcase your work to that audience is a privilege in and of it self, so a film has a chance to make it's own destiny world wide even if at home people trash it, the directors & the entire crew behind the scenes get a chance to shine and be appreciated, along side the actors. For most of India's public, only the actors matter, not even the singers get the proper credit, festivals make it a level playing field for a lot of behind the scenes talent and they network and make connections that are advantageous to their career.

I personally wish SLB, his entire crew as well as his cast the very best in this festival and a huge success to the film.
