My two cents:
I am more at Abhimanyu side but I understand Akshara. You know if Akshara told him the reason and does not just go and reject him brutally every f*cking time after giving him hope, there would not have been a female lead who could beat her in term of strong, determined, lovable ... In short, a Stan worthy FL.
She still has that power. Because till now, I see it as a flaw which has developed over the years due to the continuous negligence of her family members of her pain, the guilt she carries with herself of loosing her mother, the distance between her and Aarohi which she think grew because her efforts were not effective.
I still love Akshara because in today episode, her reasons made sense to me. But I guess I will just express her POV in story... Which is in progress.
I stand with Abhimanyu because even when she rejected him, again and again, he fought with goons for her, gives her lift and agrees to sit behind on his own bike (I know I can't do that. My love to ride on my own especially when I am okay is unparalleled 🙈), she was ready to go inside the fire to save the kids but damn, he could not let it, when he felt she left, he was heartbroken yet gave her a benefit of doubt and called and what he heard had done a damage which will take, I don't know how much time to heal and again today took a stand for her and once again decided to listen to his heart and got it heartbroken.
You know I remember a Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Dialogue here, jab Dil toot jaata hai toh Dil se achi advice to dimaag hi deta hai na?
His heart is brutally crushed, broken into zillion pieces and every piece leaves a wound and he is bleeding profusely.
So now, the bruised man has fought it all, with all he had, but now his soul left... So he will do everything to make his mother happy.
Is not this what Akshara is doing too? So he is just following her footsteps. Can't it be this his thought, when she left him for everything else... Him who made her his everything then why even after her crushing him, would he be standing alone? Why should he hurt his mother for a person who rejected him, walked all over him?
Damn, the complications their relationship will now have and how much beautiful the journey would be of them to solve, explore and know each other .... I am excited.
I just hope the writers decides to explore it in a nice way and let's hope Uttkarsh Sir and Saba ma'am takes over. And hopefully Saba ma'am dont pull stunts like she did in Mollaki.
And not to forget the angst that's coming our way. We have seen a glimpse of it in the precap ... I am literally screaming.
