Just my 2 cents, I know no one asked for it but I’m still giving it, please bear with me 😳 These are just my observations, I might be wrong and it is not intended to offend any actor or character.
Last 2 weeks since the big revelation the episodes are super boring except few scenes here and there. The only character moving in right direction is Fateh. This show never had proper storyline so it was not as if the story is suddenly bad or something. I thought why the boredom has crept in, why that zing is missing from this show. Then, I realised this show was always about 3 characters Fateh, Tejo and Jasmine. The show has always moved around FaTejo and Jasmine being the catalyst to push them together or pull them apart. Whatever audience whether online or TRP they have built, is through them. Now these character are separated and not linked to each others life in any which ways. So the spice is missing, the intensity is missing. The only thing working for me in this show as of now is Fateh’s redemption and his repentance. I’m liking his monologues (which we never got during EMA track). It is giving insight of the only character who is layered and kind of gray in this show.
If I remember correctly, around 2 weeks back, there were lots of promotion interviews and videos were released for Tejo-Angad track. Priyanka has never got this kind of footage even when she was rocking the track in the show during the EMA revelation. So, I asked myself why now? I still remember when Shan used to post interviews of Ankit/Isha or articles about JasFa or interviews in support or defence of JasFa, she used to ask why we never get Priyanka’s interviews and I would reply to her post that her work/character/popularity speaks for herself, she don’t need promotions. Same with FaTEJO, they never got any dues from channel or makers but still they are popular. So, I got my answer and I waited for track to process further.
Since Friday episode (I might mess up with epi timeline as I don’t watch the whole epi) I feel they have changed the track abruptly wrt Tejo-Angad. Going by the slow pace in the last week, I believed the initial track was to last till Dec/ early Jan and after that Tejo and Fateh would meet but now they are rushing towards Fateh-Tejo face off as quickly as possible and also infusing Jasmeen in between. The whole Tejo-Angad track looks like missing puzzle now. Leave aside romantic angle, the least makers could have done is built up on their friendship but alas. Angad is still more of a trusted acquaintance than a friend to Tejo and Angad is in his la-la land. I don’t understand why Angad even wants custody of a child without being responsible for her. He is either attending meetings, managing business or drinks a lot and get sloshed. Is he capable enough to handle responsibility of a child, who is probably going through a trauma of losing her parents? You have to nurture a child, money cannot buy everything in life.
