also in the latest epi the Basus looked like a sitcom family, Anurag included. I was laughing so hard when he just sat there on the floor, and was nearly yelling at buffoon and then later eating golgappe along with crying in between it was annoying to see him being so obtuse and this entire MU is so made up it really does feel like a sitcom now. To clarify, Karan’s performance was great as usual, just that the whole situation is too made up

Nowadays Anurag looks more like a joker to me than anything else and I really miss the Anurag from before. And they are expecting Anurag to save the day for them or for this show ? 🙄🙄🤣🤣

From the clothes he was wearing , to his whole behaviour in this episode, it seemed as if I was watching someone else instead of The Anurag Basu we knew.....jeezzz

StarPlus is also axing a fairly new show , on air for only 4 months....the competition is sooo damn tough.

I always thought tht any show gets at least 6 months to prove itself, but I guess with this whole pandamic going on, everything changed...

I think out of all of us here, you have a soft spot for Priyanka and the actress playing her so you can still enjoy the episodes to a better extent than us. But for me at least watching Noina, Priyanka and that dida is impossible. I literally finished the new episode in 2 mins LOL. Yes Priyanka came later in the show but she came at a point where people now want to see the leads together as Aunrag has confessed and Kajol was on her way to a love confession. So now she is the biggest reason for people being frustrated and wasting precious screen space when the sword may fall on the show any day. Also again she was an absolutely unnecessary addition when we already had 2 vamps and a villain.

I really thought this show would at least survive till Jan 2022 end. But I don’t think Colors will even allow that now. It will run till the first or second week of Jan max. And since they have already shot so much of stalker creating MU scenes, I don’t think we should expect many Anjol scenes or a logical ending for them anymore.

I am saying this from experience. BPP was ended within two weeks of official off air announcement and they cut alot of Praghbir scenes at the end to wrap up the storylines. We know this since Pearl and Ishita had shared BTS of scenes that we never got to see. I see the same happening here though I hope that I am wrong.

No, you are wrong to assume whom I have or don’t have a soft spot for, and I think it’s better to not assume what I might be thinking. The point of my post is, the dowry harassment that they showed, coupled with the fact that they swept it under the carpet, was the biggest negativity factor of this show because it is a genuinely problematic patriarchal arc they put over there without any meaningful condonation of the same. Other plot points like Naina’s yelling and jealousy, Priyanka’s nonsense- all of these are irritating and negative to viewers and cuts down trp yes, but the dowry plot point was not only infuriating but downright morally wrong because of the way they treated it (that is, by sweeping that issue under the carpet). So yes, this will always be the lowest point of the show for me.

Which is why I said I felt this show was going to have a premature ending right from the start (this and a few other reasons) since they never resolved the biggest negativity and problematic aspect of the show. It’s unfortunate because there is a lot of good acting talent in this show (ID harshad many already knew, Karan a great find for most here, a lot of the supporting cast are great)

Well observed post...for me they might just as well end on 31st dec; why prolong the misery? The only big decision Kajol might make after 2nd MU is to walk away and though I like the thought of Anjol this is dragging on too much.

I dont see that Priyanka is going to go anytime soon and I cant see that the show is going to be revamped or bought into earlier time slot.

The problem with Colors tv is tht once they take a decision to end a show, they give the deadline. And from there on they dont give a shit anymore if the show gets a logical ending or not....End means End for them. Its then op to the makers to see what they do.

I have seen it happening with Swabhimaan also. The Production House got only 2 weeks to wrap up the show logically and they had to rush it.

I have the feeling the same is going to happen to this show also.

At least StarPlus gives the time to end the show logically.

The makers of TSBTSP are sooo darn stupid....I mean if the rumors of off air are already floating around and new shows are lined up, I think the Production House must have been informed already OR at least if they have some common sense, they already should hv an inkling what is about to happen right ?! They are not new comers in the field. Than why still shoot so many damn illogical shit tht viewers despise and dont wanna see ?!

Its just beyond me .

They should have brought Anurag and Kajol together right after the Durga Pujo....gotten them married and from there on proceed. But NO !!! These stupid asses wasted 3 weeks in Noina's shaadi preparations only....🤯🤯
