Tumhari Disha's D K (Ashish Nayyar) has turned hotelier. This isn't one of the track changes in the drama, but a reality. The actor has built a huge beach resort in Palolem, in the south of Goa. Called Chattai, the hotel has 10 huts, of 250 sq feet each.

Giving details about the project, Ashish explains, "I am thrilled to bits about Chattai. It is one of my biggest undertakings, and I am looking forward to people coming and experiencing it. The place is almost 80 per cent complete." Each of the shacks on the beach will have three levels. The lowest level will have the bathroom, a bedroom on top, and finally, a sit-out gallery, where one can relax and enjoy the view.

Opens in December

The actor says there will also be an eatery in the middle. "Chattai will be open to the public by the second week of December." On the look of the place, Ashish says, "It has an entirely ethnic look, with lots of canes, Nilgiri poles and Indian artefacts. It will be pleasing to the eye, and rich in look."

Private sundecks

The most interesting part of the resort are the sundecks, where one can lie down in privacy and get a tan. "I want to give every one a sense of peace and an opportunity to relax and feel at home." Ashish has yet to figure out the rates for the resort, but will do that shortly. "I am in the process of completing the project soon, so that people can celebrate New Year at Chattai."

👏 Wow thanks Jings, for posting it here. Looks like a dream place, now the least we can get for being such dedicated TD-DK-IF- Ashish fans, is some concession/discount in Chataai 😳 😃

what is this middle of the night if some one wants to visit the Loo, they have to go to the ground level.....i need to see the architect now😆

All the best to AN & hope he manages to open the resort by Dec..........ofcourse whenever i plan a trip to india i have to include Goa now 😉 ..........

AN can hire dk to work out the rates for him 😉 .........bechare ko abh koi kaam baam nahi hai 😆
