And if you follow him on insta u will notice that he is pretty much into his faith.. Highly doubt someone like that would be bi or close to it

While it's definitely true that faith has nothing to do with sexuality but IK over the years I have felt has very publically shown his faith as important.. Similar to actress Gauhar Khan, muzammil ibrahim.. Even if he might be attracted to the same sex I highly doubt he would act on it... And i actually used to interact wih Sneha during the fanclub days.. The couple are really in love and to Inncuniate that he is gay based on some imaginary radar is delusional...

Oh I remember how fans were angry at her.. IK did defend her and said that it's false but then back in those days SM wasn't that strong... I would like to believe she has changed though

Sneha sounds like a bitch. Anyway, why would he not act on it if he attracted to the same sex? Would being gay make him irreligious? Like I said, you cannot choose your sexuality.

If he's not then its a different matter altogether.

Sneha was really young tbh.. I think there were issues between Iqbal and Neha in sets as well.. Who knows what happened.. Sneha actually had tried to hide her identity but her id was a giveaway of who she was...

Homosexuality is like a huge blasphemy in Islam.(only acting on it..its not sinful to be attracted to the same sex ) . It's almost enough to ouster you from the community Much worse then drinking alcohol or gambling.. I do have muslim friends who are actively bisexual but they are not at all religious at nor do they much knowledge about their faith so it's not surprising... I feel IK is not in that category as I have genuinely followed him since years.. He was not always like that but over the years I feel he has become quite religious (even Sana khan had a similar pattern and she ended up quitting the industry) so it's just more of a probability calculation on my part to guess that he may not act on it.. (Still better then a gayradar which has no reason)..

First, I said I suspect him, not that it's a scientifically proven fact. So you can calm down a bit there. The reasoning you gave are the reasons I have for suspecting him. His wife feels like a nasty piece of work. What kind of woman comes to India forums to talk trash about your husband's costar in an forum visited by teenagers? That's an all time low act. I can understand her disliking Neha, but talk trash of her in India forums to a bunch of 12-15 year old members here? Why would a man put up with a woman like that? Plus sorry to say, Sneha looks so manly and weird looking, while Iqbal is like the most handsome man on the planet. It seemed like he only put up with her (Sneha) as she's a beard and may be actively threatening and blackmailing him.

I have a few other reasons for suspecting him. He is very close with females in gatherings ... I have seen him touching hugging his female costars, family members etc but I don't see that with his male friends. Generally gay man are closer to their female friends (as they are not attracted to females and can be friends with them easily). Of course these are all speculation, I never claimed them to be the truth. He called Ellen Degeneres the only person he can be a fan of, and claimed she had certain personalities he liked. Whatever, these are just my hunches. nothing more.

Just because something is a huge sin doesn't mean Muslims cannot partake in it or that it disqualifies you from Islam. Homosexuality doesn't disqualify you from Islam, just as eating pork or drinking wine or taking interest doesn't. Only thing that does is "shirik". The queer Muslim group has been growing very strong by each passing day, I know at least 2 Muslim guys (one studied with me on school and now lives in London) who pray 5 times a day and are in a same sex relation with another guy. The number of gay imaams have been growing in America at an alarming rate, who have been openly advocating for the union between same sex. FYI homosexuality was traditionally seen as a sin in Christianity and Judaism too, but most have discarded those aspects and are very liberal about same sex relationships. The same is happening in Muslim communities, whether you like it or not. Watch Yasir Qadhi's video on the topic. Or read the book "A Queer thing happened in America".

Ouster you from community? That's only if you do it openly which no LGBT person from India or similar places would do.

Of course what I say was based on my hunch. I never proclaimed it as a fact.

According to mainstream Islamic interpretation (which comprises of over 99% of Muslim views), yes it would make you a sinning Muslim and therefore much less religious. It wouldn't disqualify you from Islam, only "shirik" does that (associating anything material with Allah).

However here's the thing: Homosexuality was just as much a sin in Christianity and Judaism, but over the years they have changed their stances and have come to accept this as valid. And as difficult as it may be to believe, the same is happening in the Muslim communities as well. I personally know 2 Muslim guys who pray, fast etc and are in same sex relationships. Both lives in UK which is probably the most liberal hub for LGBT people and both are out to public and says it's not an issue there.

So it's not impossible for a person to be religious and gay, regardless of what traditional interpretations may say. Though personally I have left my religion and is borderline atheist/agnostic now. This point is irrespective of IK or any celeb issue. LOL
