I saw you mention that interview a few times so I googled it. Just finished reading it, it was pretty heartbreaking.

She bears her soul in it and you get to know Katrina the person. I got to know her after her breakup with RK when seeing her various interviews over the years, but had I read that interview back then I would've known her sooner. I like the way she is reflective, thoughtful, and sober about her life experiences. She doesn't come across as bitter nor does she victimize herself. You see a mature intelligent young woman who's been through a shit ton. Definitely out of RK's league.

Anyone who reads it will understand just how profound it is that she found and married Vicky -- that what a nice guy he must be for her to choose him in the end. (And what a bloody nightmare RK was. She's lucky she got away from him.)

Especially some deepika fans have probably forgotten how heartless their Mata Rani was to poor nihar pandya. While stay in his home, she had brought the other man home and send him away.

Katrina talks in that interview like philandering is a way of life and it should be accepted. RK really makes women believe cheating is okay. Alia believes that now too.
