the mhrw time shifting onus definitely lies on SP but the shutting down was I guess mutual decision of SP and SS. SP wanted to make its 5.30 slot also strong by using mehendi popularity but SS wasn't in favour of continuing the show more. I feel like this for 2 reasons- first one he definitely had lost interest in the show and the 2nd one is he wanted his team and crew working on mehendi for his marathi and telegu show. He was the same person who said that he wants to continue mehendi for 2 years but at farewell party he had told the story as much as he wanted. This confirms that he is lying and he definitely lost interest.

According to speculations, the new show which will replace vidrohi is karthik deepam.It's again a remake of regional show. It's storyline is somewhat favourite of trp audience that is a helpless female with a dark skin who struggles to find acceptance by her husband and his family. On top of that she has a step family also. All the trp ingredients are there in original storyline of this show.

Maybe SP is again try to gamble its luck

Yes Vidrohi was never meant to be early evening show. SP should have made it a weekend show. Unnecessarily AapKi and MHRW got shut down. Aap Ki Nazaroon was also doing decent at 5:30PM slot getting 0.5 - 0.6 TRP. MHRW was stable with 1 - 1.1 trps at 6:30PM slot even with zero promotion and no OTT expenditure. SP did a stupid move by shutting down ANNS and then moving MHRW to that slot. That opened the floodgates for Colors to grab the early evening timeslot. Now SP is panicking and is trying to get romantic shows in early evening time slots to get the audience back.

Regarding this show - I think Colors also had a similar show theme about a dark skinned girl and a fair guy with punjabi background. I don't remember the name but I have seen the promos of them. Don't know how far this will work. I think Chiku and Zindagi will also face the axe soon.

no idea Jaya..imli i was watching, i think it was during Shaurya time..i rem i was watching these 2 in Jan that time, later in Feb mehndi came...during Shaurya only i saw mehndi promos

Yes whoever suggested vidrohi to give early time slot instead of weekend show and off air MHRW and ANNS fired that person. That person gave colors to gain TRP.

Star plus is all wrong. Colors are gaining

Zindagi and chicku also won't long last

Star plus is only channel which lost points in last week TRP where other channels points were in plus

Star plus ka pakka star minus ho gaya 😆

Star plus want to take grip on early slot show so it will do everything to back in game

Even 7:30 PM have tie with colors show

No idea about color show with same theme

Same theme was in bidai too
