I have sooo many thoughts so apologies for the rambling.

So volume 1 of s5 to me was incredibly disappointing. But that’s because I had set such high standards for this show, it really is one of my all time favourite shows! There was just far too much action and not enough plot twists. BUT volume 2 of s5 was SO much better. I was on the edge of my seat throughout.

Standout moment - the final bella ciao as a group. GOOSEBUMPS

Loved Alicia’s character development 👏

Professor always has a plan, vol2 was true to his character. From the entry in to the bank to the negotiating, the mastermind was finally back.

All the twists and the turns made this a good ending for me. The fake police stealing the gold, the constant one-up’ing, the land registry search, the hiding under a sofa, all of this is why I fell in love with the show. Man, I’m going to REALLY miss this show!

I LOVED VOL 2!!!

[SPOILER] There were a few inconsistencies here and there like them showing better part of season 3 and 4 how unprepared Sergio was for this heist since it was more of Palermo and Berlin's idea and needed more time for this plan, cut to S5 and we have this flashback of professor in Palawan preparing for the heist. (The writers came up with the ending at the last minute so it makes sense)

BUTTT... The gang survived and that's all that matters. I can't believe we got a happy ending for Sergio and Raquel, that really made the season for me. I'm glad we got a happy ending since that gave the show a rewatch value ❤️

I know Berlin's a fan favourite (beats me how) but I can't care less about that guy and I'm definitely not gonna watch the spin off. I would've rather watched a Tokyo spin off or anyone else xD

I wasn't attached to Tokyo but man did her death made me tear up!

Honestly she got the best send off. It was beautiful and poetic and very true to her nature. Grandola vila morena playing in the background made the scene a whole lot more emotional.
