Maan reached his room in the guest house. Kept the document on the table and was about to move when his eye went on the Name at place of Signature “Geet” he read out. His hand reached towards the name. He did not stop his hand as his finger tip caressed over the name. It felt soothing and smiled formed on his face as the vision of her dancing Jhumka cam in-front of his eyes. He knew it was just silly but he did not mind enjoying the unknown feel.

Two days he kept working on the planning of the project when he got call from his Finance head Adi.

“Sir, we have transferred half the money for the land dealing of Hoshiyarpur and now it is with Audit team for further process”

“Good Adi. Please instruct the Audit Team to work very thoroughly in this case. And I need full detail of all.”

“Sure sir. Ok Bye Sir” He was about to disconnect. Then “One sec Adi. Can you tell whose account the money was transferred?” “Sir Geet Handa” “Ok Bye” He then disconnected with some unknown relief. He somehow didn’t want her Land’s money to go to someone’s else. Why he felt to be protective to her. He didn’t know her and she definitely have a big family of hers. Also he didn’t know if she was strong for her own self. He knew nothing and why should he. He tried to shake himself to get over the overpowering thought of her. He has been trying to do that whole two days as he tried to focus on his work but her dancing Jhumka and her hair string on her white nape where not leaving him free. He never felt irritated by the feel though. The whole thought made his work simply soothing.

But he needed a break to focus on work. He got schedule setup with Brij to see the site in person. 1st Time he needed someone, then he will take round on his own.

On the other side, after Maan has left, Geet somehow managed to handle herself but to her misery, in the dining table Brij was all awed by the client.

“Daarji, what a personality this man has. I can’t believe how he can handle such huge business at this age” Geet closed her eyes. She has been trying all ways to convince herself that this “Khurana Ji” was a boring businessman. But Veerji was not helping. Her heart was anyways without any reason behaving stupid and this Veerji.

“He wants us to call him by his name, Maan” “Maan” came involuntarily from Geet. She could not believe how sweet it sounded when it came out from her. Her heart skipped a beat as she spoke his name. Her heart was just trying to skip from the strong grip of her, the grip that she has made after the heart got that big scar.

“Kash ” said Brij “Hope we had met him a year to two back” said Brij in flow. Rano made big eyes at him. Signaled at Geet and hinted him to stop.

Geet had now taken too much. She have to stop Brij Veerji “Bharjai ji looks like Veerji has changed his taste” she laughed “He does not look interested in you. He is so lost in Khurana Ji” she laughed.

“Geet ke bachi” Brij threw a hand towel which was in his vicinity. He loved her teasing self-back. It was so rare these days. The topic changed to save Geet.

It had been 2 days and Geet has planned to meet her mentor. Her mentor, Rajni Devi was guiding her on how to progress in her life the way she wanted.

She was now standing on the field listening and talking to her mentor.

She heard voice of Brij Veerji. She ignored as Brij Veerji had loud voice so she recognized it even from far. As the mentor was talking to her, she turned to check on Veerji, why she doesn’t know. Veerji was facing her. He was with someone facing his back to her. They were bit far. She turned her attention to her mentor. But flash of man’s back seized her attention. She shrugged and again brought her focus back. It was the client who bought this land that she guessed. He was “Maan”, her heart has music just by the feel of his name. Unknown pull against her will made her look back one more. She got better picture of his well-defined physique from back. The pull was strong and she literally jerked herself to pull back her attention to her mentor. But why, the image of the man even from back, kept flashing in front of her eyes. Not making her to focus. This was not her; she was completely over such stuff. Then why was this lingering.

Maan was busy with Brij and lost in getting the whole information about the stretch of land and what was located at which side. They were returning and lost in discussion. Brij while walking and talking hit the big stone in front of him and he stumble, Making Maan in return stumble. Maan hit somebody but soon he was held by Brij and they walked off. But Brij kept talking and thus Maan missed looking at the person and say sorry.

Geet stumbled as someone suddenly fell on her but soon the person was gone. Geet shivered with that slight touch of the person. She looked up to see Veerji and other man, as per her guess it was Maan. The whole feel sent shiver to her whole self. It was different, so overpowering. Nothing was in her control. Maan had just made contact with her and left. Her focus was off course gone.

Maan for few minutes was not able to focus on Brij. The feel of the person he stumbled on lingered a bit but he was soon back to self.

Week has passed and Maan had made the basic plan for start of the project. He had couple of video conference meetings with his core team as well.

Tomorrow both parties will be there for registration. Thought of at last meeting with the real other party, Geet, had brought an unknown inner excitement in him. He shrugged off and took his Jeep to check on the site one more time. He had his binoculars with him as well.

Geet was advised by her mentor to have some joyful time with her friends. So she was trying that out these days. How she wished that some magic happens and she will not have to make forceful attempt to be happy. Can she not get a world where she forgets everything and happiness automatically surrounds her? So today in slightly cold weather it was feeling good to sit on the terrace and get feel of bright sunny weather. She was on terrace of her friend Shivani and they were having a nice fun chat. It was nice location. She could also see from top her whole land, the land from which she will at last detach herself. She was happy to get this burden of her shoulder.

Maan’s Jeep zoomed in and stopped at the mid of the land he has recently bought for his project.
