Vaish, there is only so much Raavi can do. If he doesn’t reciprocate, what message will that send to Raavi? That he still is not interested in her and maybe he did the engagement and remarriage only because of Dhara’s pressure. There’s gotta be some guve from his side as well.

You are right it will send wrong message but you see even Raavi knows they he will need lot of time and efforts but the small steps like opening up to her is encouraging her .

He can go all out when it comes to anger, hatred, fights etc., but in matters of love he is very cautious, careful, slow

Romantic love is an unknown territory for him, though he is experiencing it but still doesn't know how to deal with all those surreal emotions

Besides he also wants to make sure Raavi is comfortable & ready at each step

Its as if he has been given 1 chance & he doesn't want to screw it this time

He will always expect Raavi to take the lead & guide him, though he will be happy to oblige however & whenever she wants things to be in their love life

P.S. just sharing my understanding of Shiva's character

I feel somehow Shiva's guilt is one of the reasons behind his hesitation.. He knows what he did was wrong. He wanted to apologize when Raavi came back to pandya niwas. Plus these feelings of love are very new to him. Bande ko pehli baar pyaar hua hain. And Raavi has always been very vocal about her feelings. We have seen that before marriage when she was in love with Dev

But he was not shy with Disha. Let her ride on his bike. Let her place her hand on his in the auto, let her kiss him, let her clear the aata, let her put the ring on his finger. If the makers didn’t edit, we would have gotten her hug to him twice, once in the Shiva 2.0 ME and another time before she is taken away by her parents from the engafemebt.

No, I don’t believe he is not all that shy, his ego is still stopping him from confessing and he is still testing Raavi if she is truly committed to their relationship. Raavi is taking this chance very seriously and him not so much, because there is nobody to question or keep an eye on him unlike Raavi who is being watched by Suman all the time,

Tbh I think that even Raavi has understood how Shiva operates in matters of love, thats why she has started taking charge in their love life

Asking him to share his feelings, use her bike, she is trying to make him realize that he can trust her, she is always going to be there for him, he can have haq on her

With Disha it was different, he had no feelings for her, even Suman knew that he loved Raavi & won't be able to feel in a similar way for anyone else

with Raavi its difficult for him, he loves her, he was heartbroken & turned crazy when he realized that she doesn't love him, remember we all agreed that he didn't want to be friends with Raavi because he wants all or nothing to do with her

With Raavi there can't be anything else for him, its either love or nothing, he feels very intensely for her, even more than how Raavi feels for him

Yes Raavi is very expressive, somebody who wears her heart on her sleeves

But I don't think she was in love with Dev, rather she misunderstood her feelings for him, its impossible for me to believe that she got over him so fast, if she was ever in love with him
