Preity and Saif were styled really well, very cosmopolitan. And Saif and SRK were hilarious! They made the film. Also loved Jaya Bachchan's role- I was a blubbering mess by the end when Jenny's parentage was revealed!

This Nikhil Advani was pretty talented, different from the usual Dharma storytellers. Wonder what happened there?

I found the movie pretty meh and Shahrukh an irritating meddler. I found the attempt to tug my heartstrings very obvious and unrealistic. Not only in Shahrukh's case , but also the lame kid, the illegitimate kid etc. Lilette Dubey as the horny neighbor and her fat younger sister could have been erased and no difference would have been visible in the end product. Preity's character could have been interesting if she didn't fall for angel Shahrukh along with the rest of the cast. Jaya was wasted in a role which any actress could have done. Saif was the only character who was even borderline sympathetic and he got Preity as a consolation prize. Poor remake of Anand all around. And Kjo himself said that he interfered too much. I liked Nikhil Advani's next film Salaam-e Ishq better.
