If it was real, phir toh aur bhi better hai. Cuz these two were full on flirting with each other during this dance. Though the editing for this dance sucked ass, there were moments that were extremely beautiful. Like this one:

Akshara, spinning around, apne mein hi mast malang phir Abhimanyu aa jaata hai as a silent observer.

It is almost as if Akshara is inviting Abhi to watch her by doing those moves. Jaise peacocks nahi karte 😂 Also, why am I reminded of Maneka who awakened Vishvamitra's lust and passion? Maybe not appropriate to this scene but kinda makes sense because Abhi's love life has been dormant since the past few years as he has made his career his goal but then here comes this beautiful girl who has completely distracted him to the point that he thinks about her even after surgeries.

@Bold You make Abhira sound so sexy 😆 The fact they were not talking during this makes the scene even more sensuous because it was all about their physical attraction this time.

He could interact with her. Touch her, move in sync with her, be close to her. It is a dance of soulmates after all. But he doesn't. He instead continues to watch her from afar and he is completely enraptured by the sight that is before him. Dressed in a shimmering white dress, there is Beauty dances with a grace and elegance unlike anything he has ever seen before. Her movements aren't complex or intricate. They are so simple yet so beautiful.

He doesn't touch her because he doesn't want to disturb the flow. She's like a butterfly whose presence has him mesmerised but he cannot touch the butterfly or else she will fly away. I sometimes don't like people referring to girls as butterflies but it seemed apt here.

Dance of soulmates - how bloody romantic!

They continue to orbit around each other and this time they have exchanged their spots. With Akshara standing where he did, it is her turn to observe yet Abhimanyu doesn't move. He remains still as a rock, unsure of what to do and truly, what can he do? How could he, a man who has been rigid in his ways for decades, possibly move in a way that could make this Beauty be mesmerized? What could he, a man who has always kept his head buried in his work, do to make her attracted to him just as he is with her?

In the final portion, where Akshara has her body tilted, in the midst of moving away from Abhimanyu, she still has her head facing his way. Similarly, even though he has his back to her, he too is actively moving his head towards her way. A clear indication of how even though these two may not always be beside each other, they will always be in one another's orbit, constantly being pulled towards one another.

Damn I never knew Akshara was this flirtatious! Haha yes, Abhi is totally captivated by her and too awestruck to react that's why he is not doing any dance. Not that it would suit him to sway his arms like she did 😆 I loved your take to this, they will always be drawn to each other despite the obstacle in the middle. I feel a moth and fire similarity here in regards to the attraction, the moth is obviously Abhi. He is completely drawn to her.

And here, we complete the circle. Akshara is back to her original position where she happily dances, and Abhimanyu is behind the chandelier, simply observing her. The portion that stands out is the way Akshara frames herself for him. With her hands reaching above her head and slowly bringing them down, she is clearly drawing attention to herself and is guiding Abhimanyu on where exactly to look. It's not to a part of her body that is often sexualized, it's merely her face. Towards her mind which she uses to form her opinions and create a worldview; towards eyes from which she sees the world and expresses her unexpressed feelings; towards her nose through which she breathes in all the beautiful fragrances of life; and then to her lips where her smile resides and from which she communicates her opinions.

If I was your English teacher and the scene was a paragraph from a book you had to analyse, you'd get full marks. I love love love how you have perfectly described the symbolism which I'm sure even the makers did not intend. They must be like let's just give her some moves and there's our dance portion. Who knew you'd turn this scene into something so beautiful

Bold - and this makes her even more desirable to him.

This dance was all about Akshara presenting herself in her entirety and summoning her soulmate to come and do the same. Abhimanyu, upon seeing this sight, is absolutely stunned not just by her physical beauty but also by the beauty of her soul. It is pure, it is simple, and it is easy to understand.

It's honestly no wonder why Abhimanyu fell so deeply in love with Akshara post this dance. What she did was incredibly powerful and it wasn't even a bold gesture. In this little vacuum, where there was only space for the two of them, one soul called out to its other half, and the other listened.

Thank you so much! I never thought I'd enjoy reading an analysis of a show! You have caught some of the simplest things that I never noticed and gave it such a beautiful meaning! Truly enhanced this scene ❤️

Let me be cheeky and ask you to analyse all the scenes of Abhira and treat us hehe

I'd love to read more. We should all do it, itd be so interesting to see how different people interpreted the scenes.

P.s loving the cute monkey gif 😆

Agreed!

Yeh silent mode wala pyaar mujhse bilkul hazam nahi hoga and it would be beyond irritating to watch. Matlab, she's actively breaking his heart and is watching him be in immense pain, all for what? That kameeni who unfortunately is her sister?

I just wanna shake her and tell her

Dude you need to legit start writing for all the Abhira scenes henceforward. Forget Abhi, the way you have described and explained that particular scene, has me stunned. I'm at work so dont have much time to reply properly and the wifi here sucks so cant even see your beautiful gifs.

I will read this again with the gifs as soon as I reach home. I always read before sleeping so I'll enjoy this.

Thank you! I really cherish such detailed analysis. I dont think even the makers intended what you have written. You've made this scene absolutely beautiful. Cant wait to read it properly soon.

Loll, as long as I have gifs of them, I'll do it! 😆

Idk why but I just glean so much more info that way. 😳

Totally get what you mean. When I am trying to write, I always listen to a certain piece of music or a scene from movie/show which helps me. Choro that's inspiration.

But obviously if we are to review a cake, we need the slice of it na so we can keep tasting it to judge.

OMG! I'm so glad you made the peacock connection because it is super relevant to their story and I have SO much to say about it. Let me try to break it down in a coherent sense:

Clothes: AbhiRa's clothes are mirror opposites of each other.

Akshara: The only bit of colour comes from her jewelry. Jewelry - also known as accessories that help accentuate a person's beauty, but also can be easily worn and taken off and interchanged with whatever one desires. In Akshara's case, it did just that. Her outfit on the other hand was all white. White in and of itself isn't one singular colour - it holds the ability to contain all the colours. This is extremely telling as Akshara isn't one-dimensional. She has numerous shades and they're reflected accordingly depending on the situation around her.

In the GIF above, you can see a shimmering in her outfit which could be an indication that there is some sort of mirror work embedded within. It is small enough that it doesn't get in the way of hurting one's eyes but big enough that it gets the job done of making her look pretty. It could also be seen that the small mirror works are tiny reflections of Akshara. She absorbs everything that is around her - her familial upbringing, the love from her siblings, her personal morals and values, the serenity that is derived from music etc. - and she gives it back to the world. She takes everything she has learned and applies it in the best way she knows how - in her generosity.

Abhimanyu: He is the complete opposite in terms of how he is dressed. The primary fabric of his outfit is black which absorbs light and colours. On top of it, is a patchwork of mirrors that aren't clear at all. They are scaly, have cracks within them and are littered with a range of colours that clash with each other. It is extremely reflective of him of the Abhimanyu that we were initially introduced to. He was bitter and there were cracks in his relationship with his father. He may be cordial with his aunt and uncle, but he's not super close to them as he is with his mom and Neil. There are vibrant and positive colours but they don't reside within him. Rather, they are heavy reflections of everything around him. So the yellows, blues, greens, and reds that we see in his mirror work, we see all that in the background and that's what's bouncing off of him.

In regards to the primary cloth, as I mentioned, it is black and black absorbs. Meaning, it takes and consumes an entity in its entirety. Once the process is done, you can't shine on a light on black and expect to find the entity again. It is impossible to do so. At the moment, that's exactly what we're seeing from Abhimanyu. Yes, he maintains a respectful boundary but when he was confident about Akshara loving him, he was all in and he wanted the exact same from her. He wanted her all to himself in her entirety. He wanted her melodious voice, the peace she exudes, her playful banter, as well as the sensuous moments.

What's even more interesting about their attire is that Abhimanyu's mirror patchwork resembles the patterning on a peacock much more than Akshara does. Yet, Abhimanyu isn't the one who is in the active role as the Attractor, Akshara is.

On another interesting note, Abhimanyu first gravitates towards Akshara because of her voice, which is another element that is found in peacocks' mating calls. For AbhiRa, more specifically, the song that Akshara sings is about Kanha (who is always depicted with a peacock feather) and a yearning to see him, hear him and be with him. Abhimanyu hears that call and of all the people at the ghat, men and women alike, it is only Abhimanyu who goes to her.

And on a side note, I didn't gif this portion of the dance because it looked too funny, but AbhiRa dance with a peacock feather (which I think is imaginary because of the CGI but who knows 😆). But yeah, peacocks and AbhiRa have one hell of a strong connection!

@Bold You make Abhira sound so sexy smiley36 The fact they were not talking during this makes the scene even more sensuous because it was all about their physical attraction this time.

Dude! I haven't even talked about Abhi yet! The way he views Akshara in Main Na Jiya - holy shit! 😲 I legit haven't seen anything hotter.

What an apt point yet again!

One symbolic quality for butterflies is one of transformation. Akshara as an individual is constantly undergoing change. As a child when she found out the truth about her parentage, when Sirat Maa passed away giving her the responsibility of Arohi, growing up whilst having to hide her pain and trauma, going away for three years, coming back home and finding Love, and then finding a way to balance her family love with this newfound one - there is just so much going on with her. Although the change may gradual and slow, she is constantly evolving. Plus, there's the added fact of her wanting to know who she really is. A vast amount of reflection is needed for that, and self-reflection paves way for inner growth.

For Abhimanyu as well, she has transformed him from the spiritually troubled man into someone who had found inner peace. She showed him how to live life without restraints and how to truly let oneself go. It's another reason why he was deeply troubled when she rejected him. Akshara wasn't the only one who went away. She took peace and hope away with her.

Damn I never knew Akshara was this flirtatious! Haha yes, Abhi is totally captivated by her and too awestruck to react that's why he is not doing any dance. Not that it would suit him to sway his arms like she did smiley36 I loved your take to this, they will always be drawn to each other despite the obstacle in the middle. I feel a moth and fire similarity here in regards to the attraction, the moth is obviously Abhi. He is completely drawn to her.

Lmao, I don't even know what solo dance Abhi could have done to match hers. 😆 But there's another kind of beauty in the way Akshara kept looking at him for his reaction. She enjoyed him watching her and the sensual power that lies within that is truly something else!

If I was your English teacher and the scene was a paragraph from a book you had to analyse, you'd get full marks. Hahahahah, the English Major in me is mighty pleased to hear that!

Loll, I was thinking of the same! I doubt the makers would have put this much attention into the choreography but I love how it turned out either way. ❤️

Thank you so much! I never thought I'd enjoy reading an analysis of a show! You have caught some of the simplest things that I never noticed and gave it such a beautiful meaning! Truly enhanced this scene ❤️

And thank you for your engagement with the analysis! You have brought up so many interesting points about them that made the scene even more profound than it already was.

Haha, for sure! I definitely want to make some on all the song/dream sequences that we've had so far. There's so much to learn about the characters from them. ❤️

P.s loving the cute monkey gif 😆

Why thank you!

I will like to call today's episode, the hide and seek episode.

This story went from being lighting fast to excruciatingly slow in no time.

Anyways I loved how Abhi can still feel her presence. It was beautifully executed episode.

Even though other than the Ruby bit I think the precap is a dream sequence.
