I was waiting for this mammi news to be confirmed only then reveal the theory i had in mind on this marriage.
Yesterday's episode indicated marriage is fake as pandit is fake.
Fateh already found out the real passport truth from mammi.

they will make it that he played along after knowing truth to protect Tejo. As he knew jas can go to any extent to hate and harm her. And that’s why he stands there like a dummy watching her loose her shit and insult Tejo.( apart of his plan lol)
J had her bachelorette party at the virk house the day of the divorce. No mater how in love he claims to be with J, that’s a big no no especially when the family cried for the divorce and he even justified that saying she partied outside cause she’s not allowed here.
