Am sure all of us were Seeing Birla's as arrogant, selfish and detached
But yesterday's Episode put them in a completely different light and made me rethink
I genuinely saw the Pain in their eyes and them cringing, seeing Abhi's Pain and Akshara's Rejection
I agree they are ambitious crowd, wanting to excel in their field, and unlike regular hindi Soaps, these are our day to day family, who struggle to maintain both emotional, professional and personal Balance.
And a professional will generally not be able to bond emotionally or be expressive.
Tauji loves and supports Abhi. He is not seen taunting or tainting Parth. He is neutral to Neil.. I see him going to be a strong support system to Akshara.
Taiji: Loves the kids in whatever form she is capable of. Considering she is kept at backfoot by the husband and male members of the family, she wants to make her presence feel. since she is made to feel inadequate at her profession, she cannot see her sister getting praise at the domestic front and thats the feud.
but i could see dejection in her eyes too. Mind You... she can be cunning.. as she cannot see another female rising and taking praises.
Puppa Harsh: His behaviour to his wife cannot be justified, but am sure there will be a story behind this. A man a driven and ambitious may have had dreams which he had to give up and now wants to live those through his son, wants an ambitioius wife, who stands along with his Son, and helping him excel in the career... walking alongside and taking Birla Name to a new High.
The male generation has not seen women handling house and not doing much with her life and as such do not appreciate Manjiri Mom,
This is what todays men are... they seek woman who can stand alongside them, helping them advance. they just dont want a female making home. They are willing to support their woman at home and in their career.
I see a history in Harsh Puppa... which may or may not come out. I also see Neil will be his child through an Extra Marital Affair
Mother Manjiri: Selfless, loving and caring and a Doormat. Its important for a woman to respect herself. If she lets someone treat her like a doormat, someone and others around will treat her as such. Self-respect is a must, which the woman never really stood up for. I see Manjiri being the prime reason for the feud in father-son duo
Parth: emotional soft hearted guy, but has his opinion. he is not meek... he does what he wants and even voice it. Not much presence, but a nice safety and sane net.
The Bhabhi: Neutral so far. the role reversal of Harsh and Manjiri... [ family Feuds in future, as she will see Abhi standing up for Akshara and Akshara will be the star for everyone]
Neil: insecure but rational. He will be a strong support system for Neil. He belongs to Abhi because of the selfless love and nurturing that Abhi Gives him. I like this Chamgadad 😊
Nisha: Neutral. A cute kid sister
Abhimanyu: Angry Young man. Seen the effect his father's affair had on his Mom.. saw her cry, being ridiculed by his father and other members of the family... he felt he needed to protect her... As a Kid, must have had all this pent-up Anger, and now these have converted into an Angry Soul, forever ready to fight
This anger is what destroyed his relationship with his father.
The Dhanteras night, even he was surprised to see his father laugh and be genuinely happy
He was surprised to see the next day when his father agreed to Akshara, provided Akshara acknowledges.
he was surprised.
This is a dark soul, in search of light and calm. Akshara was his safety Net, who calmed down the hulk in him. her presence was like sunlight that kept him warm and healthy during the day and a moonlight during the night [giving his the love and bonding that he craves].
Overall, I think Birla's are more like a normal family struggling with their professional and personal Balance and doing their bits in time of need. I am looking forward to father-son bonding, that will be some scene to behold.
Amazing acting by all of them
apologies for the long post... but just felt lets talk..
what do you guys think
best wishes
