Comment migration can be done only once. Do you want to get the comments migrated now or complete the whole thread/story and then migrate all the comments in one go?

The show on which I based the fan fiction is going off-air after Saturday, and already the number of people in the show's forum has dropped. If the show's forum gets locked, will that interfere with comment migration?

I don't have any comments on this fan fiction yet. If someone makes a comment here, will it get erased when comment migration from the thread happens?

Will comment migration make my fan fiction more visible? I really want to share it with as many readers as possible.

Could I ask you to do comment migration on December 1, when the show will have been over for half a week? After that, I won't expect many comments on the show's forum.

@para 1, the forum will be locked if there is no activity for a month or more (someone from the IF DT can comment on this better) so if you can finish up the story in a month and hope for good response, I suggest you should migrate it later. If the forum(or thread) is locked, no worries, you can migrate the comments that are there.

@para 2, migration is a tricky process since it can glitch at times

@para 3, yes. I can say from experience that it gets more views (but that is totally upto the audience)
