Did rishabh loved sherlin more than preeta

I mean rishabh got these much affected with sherlin that he is leaving his home .or may be he is leaving for his family sake or he broken himself into pieces.

Rishabh loved preeta always thought about her.wanted to marry her.but sherlin he just started developing feelings.how her deception affected him these much badly.that he is thinking about her words that she never loved him .and all

Both were different.

Preeta was his first love, but he always restrained himself as she and him were engaged to different people. It is something he always regretted. He came to terms with it and moved on.

He was married to Sherlyn, as per him she was carrying his child. Even though he didn’t connect much with her or the unborn baby, he accepted them both being a principled guy.

Sherlyn lost her baby and how upset she was. He was also most of the time away from his family. He came back wanting to settle down, saw Pihu, saw Sherlyn with Pihu, they were fighting less, his family adored Sherlyn, Sherlyn was genuinely jealous at the possibility of him having an EMA. All this led him to believe he could have a good life with Sherlyn.

Plus his Preetaji’s stamp of approval sealed the deal for him. It just forced him to find reasons to love her and he did.

Preeta didn’t cheat or betray him, Sherlyn did.

Rishabh is an honest loyal guy. So he couldn’t fathom why would anyone want to betray him.

The qualities which defined him were the reasons she said she hated him. It forced him to question everything and therefore you see him so broken is my take.

He loved both of them very different ways and through different circumstances . It's always said that we don't love everyone in the similar way. And the same happened with Rishabh.

With Preeta -

It was love at first sight. She was very similar to him in almost every aspect. She was a walking "perfection". She was very kind towards him & honest with him. Their bond was based on friendship and trust. Spending time with her kept him happy and that's how with her positive traits he fell in love with her. He was looking forward to express his feelings to her although from her side it was very platonic. But fate had other plans for him in form of Sherlyn. When he misunderstood that Kareena wanted to get him married he was soo happy that finally he will get married to his soulmate. Even after his marriage getting fixed with Sherlyn he had those underlying feelings for her. He wanted to scream and tell that to everybody and break free from this marriage but he didn't had the courage to speak that out. Then he got the married to Sherlyn. While taking the marriage rounds around the holy fire he decided to put his feelings in the fire & destroy it for ever. But the feelings doesn't get over in a day it takes time. Post marriage he never looked at Preeta with a wish to have her anymore but it was more like a guilt that had he said her things would've different. When she was going to marry he tried reasoning her that she is taking the worst decision of her life and wanted to protect her as a friend but she didn't trusted him. So,he broke their friendship there itself as he always believed her but she never did the same. And then Karan married Preeta which totally marked the end of his feelings for her.

With Sherlyn -

He met her as businesswoman who was his equal and was a strong opiniated woman. She was exactly the opposite of him. If we was the water then she was the fire, If he was selfless then she was self obsessed. But it was his fate that he got married to her despite the leads trying their best to stop it. He didn't loved her from beginning but with time things changed.There were times they're worst to an extent where he wanted to give up but due to the social obligation he still tried to work on the marriage with full honesty & commitment. She used to bring those layers of him out which he himself was unaware of. She used to fight, bicker, annoy ,disagree, get angry , do dhakkam dhukhi with him and at times he reciprocated her back which was totally opposite of what he actually was. She always affected him and was changing him. Then the pregnancy happened. Not once did he questioned her and believed the child as his own. This unborn child brought them closer and broke the ice between these two married strangers. He became more caring towards her and with time got attached to her. On baby shower day when Preeta showed Prithlyn truth that day itself I saw a glimpse of Kabir Singh in him who felt betrayed to an extent where he destroyed every god damn things in the corridor until he reached her. From that day onwards he was very concerned towards her. The day she met with accident the way he was scared for her,damnn💔. He cried seeing her in that state and was broken when she had miscarriage infact he felt inhuman when he couldn't feel the loss of the child but instead he felt bad seeing her in pain. This marked the beginning of affection he had towards her. Post Ganpati it kept on increasing,be it Karan putting doubt in her mind of Rish having EMA with some one else and him going mad or the I love you sequence. Then Pihu happened seeing her with Pihu he started feeling to have a family of his very own with her not knowing that basic love is happening. Her care and concern always kept him happy and he reciprocated it back. The first time after he confessed his feelings to her was the day he started moving towards her. When he discovered Prithvi's truth he had anger in his eyes for Prithvi but for her it was angst as well as pain with some tears. The jail plea of her touched his heart and it made him cry. He used to have her tasteless food because of the effort she used to put in for him and was ready to adjust with it. When Prithvi said that day who he was insecure & scared of her leaving him it was right. He had those doubts. He always trusted her above all and wanted to carry this relationship and make it successful.

Rishabh has loved Sherlyn even with her flaws. Her care and concerns always melted him. He had accepted her from very beginning only. The development of feelings which he had towards her were very natural - from habituated to attachment to affection to love. Those underlying feelings of love was always there even he knew but couldn't name it ever. The authority with which he used to jatofy his right over her. The commitment he used to give to their relationship. He was emotionally attached that's why she used to affect him. The man who never touched alcohol started drinking to lessen his pain after seeing her betrayals. The last few episodes where he was following her in car the moment she took the opposite turn there was happiness & relief over his face. He was ready accepting he was a bad husband but didn't wanted her to be proven wrong. Even after seeing her in jail confessing her love to other man he didn't dragged her & questioned her there because he didn't wanted to humiliate her in public. He waited for her to confront in room. He just wanted to know the reason of betrayal & the name of her child's father that's it.

But what he got was even more scary. The girl whom he loved with all his heart and with all he had hated him for what he was. Listening to her poisonous words that how she has been suffocated with him & never had 0.1 feelings for him shattered his heart in million pieces. Her words scarred his soul. Her hatred killed him off there only. He was still willing to give her a chance when he said "You had a chance but now I back off". He lost everything in front of her. He was defeated man with broken heart.

He left for himself only because the pain was beyond his limit. He would've suffocated and died there itself he needed some space and time to rebuild himself. He was a man whose dreams,emotions,feelings,heart,goodness and everything which he is made of was literally killed off by the woman he loved.
