I do not have much to say when it comes to analysis - rather I should not if I am not watching, will be unfair. 😊

Everyone finds a reason to watch/read a story- as absurd as it may sound because it is ITV, female oriented shows and oh the show's name is Imlie- my reason was Adi and Imlie. For me none of the plots or the story has been independent of each other's. The show did have a solid writing I would say until 250, it kept going on a sinusoidal curve since HyD, but the duration of the valleys were miniscule to uplift the story again. But I believe for 3 weeks or lesser, it almost looks like the story. the characters, hell their days are also stuck in a deadlock. It almost looks like the writers are going by reactions now. A certain section wanted Imlie to break all shackles, she went ahead and not only broke- one step ahead burnt it- like their director says "aag laga denge". Two weeks later we have her introspecting and praying that things will be OK one day! This just goes to show how arbitrary and erratic this is going. Trust me JP I loved how you put Imlie's stance on finding her own way. Like I always said, Imlie had done enough, she should have left or completely ignored M and AKT long long time back. But look at how badly this was presented. Just to make that week consequential they get ASR as slow as possible...killed the entire vibe of the importance of what Imlie had just done! I agree to the fact that Imlie should not be guilt tripping herself on why she left and why she had to do this. But it did boggle me that nothing was reminding her of any good moments or bad ones that she spent with AKT, did he become so irrelevant suddenly...arre he literally was a life changing event in her so far journey. But again look at the garbled up stance--suddenly after all the uncoordinated sub plots for the past couple of weeks, we get Imlie's introspection on how she misses AKT. Badly executed to get to that point. I sometimes feel the writers/makers are steering these episodes based off reactions. Hence this last episode of the week to tell folks...stop building ships because Adi and Imlie is the only cruise that will sail!

As for AKT and Malini equation/track- it is a waste of time for the makers...their delusion of it being an impediment needs to be broken asap. It is nothing but impervious now...AKT who reacts fast, is impulsive, seeks finality, just giving ambiguous expressions and saying some repetitive dialogues, is getting mundane and useless now. And the problem is as a viewer you know the obnoxious reason behind it- to keep Malini relevant..

Sigh JP! I hate being so critical....so pardon me everyone. We have two super talented actors and I am sure there are some really sensational scenes waiting to come...I will be there to applaud those!

I am not watching, but ofcourse keeping up with updates as and when I can. Adi and Imlie are characters I adore and this show for me will always remain their's...not her's or his! For now just manifesting that the story finds its grip- unfortunately now is when they decided to take it slow!

As a side note ---I heard a very mainstream song today from the new movie of JLo’s, I could not help thinking of Adi and Imlie- they are still on their way to each other!

They will use the office track to further create misunderstandings and it somewhat makes sense with the post the editor made how he will have to help and protect his beta journalist in this new journey. We always knew imlie and Aditya ideologies were going to clash at work because both are lead to gather the truth on different terms one is lead by emotions and another by facts. Neither looks at the grey in between which is what Aryan will try and okay on both sides.

Can there be One more possibility where it could be Imlie just following the orders n given that Aryan wants to commercialize the paper.. Going by the promo where she is seen to be going to take an interview of some celebrity .. He gives these tasks which are not upto Imlie's caliber which might irk Adi.. He seriously wants to mentor her n wants her to be the best..

More than ideologies they're building Adi's trying to show imlie the correct way but imlie as of now just wants to work be it anything related to journalism..

Love your take and questions too and you make absolute sense too 🤗 See having thought about it and I may be wrong but Aditya has always come across to me as a man that has built his story based upon following the evidence may that be one of a postive or negative light. He has been lead by facts and that has always motivated the choices he has made towards his articles and the way he has published the truth. His independence to be the voice of reason has lead him to want to work on serious social issues once others would not dare to touch.

That makes him one amazing journalist but also a man of strong ideologies that he is not willing to shift from. His voice has been driven by his desire to do right by the land just like imlie has.

But we also know that imlie and Aditya see things differently and that will certainly make them clash when he will want to teach her to be the best version of her self. While he may feel that her talent is being wasted because of Aryan commercial take on journalism she will also embrace these for the teaching lessons they are. Like she said to him before this is her first job and one can be asked to preform any task. It doesn’t mean we may like them all.

You are so right on Aditya that he would want to mentor her because he wants to teach her the right way of gathering a story and how that voice can then make a difference that matters. We all know Aditya was never driven by money for her could have worked for any publication he was driven by the quality of work he was allowed to produce.

See this this is where Aryan may make his play and tell imlie that more then the quality of her work she has to focus on the commercial side of the business. He may argue that with money and progress she will be able to set her own way forward and decide the stories but not until he believes she is ready. He will try to make a play at Aditya passion because he knows that’s what motivates him and he is out for revenge of the past. He is not aware of there equitation just yet and that will create another rift in the future.

Aditya may believe that while Imlie is listing to Aryan she is making it all about her ego. She will it refuse his help but she will also not accept all his decisions when we know when she walked away she was clear if you cannot believe me why should I. The clash is coming that is for sure.

So yes I agree he wants to mentor her as she has guided him in relationships just as he has been doing so at the start of her career it’s just I wonder will Imlie trust him enough to let him in again. Although we know she misses him does she have the courage to place her faith in him again as he does in her. That’s the question I have with this need to be with each other and there journey ahead at work and in there marriage.

Now they since they've taken all the time in the world to bring this track n they new guy n family we're almost done with his BG.. they better not rush things with internship track even if there's a drop in ratings which I've literally idea of can't really predict the audience reaction to this..

They can take this slowly steadily coz it has lot of potential n not start with whatever marriage nonsense is being planned in the BG

I so agree with you 🤗know that they have finally managed to set the scene of the new guy and with all the new sets introduced too this track seems to me that it will be around for a bit at least for each day is being stretched to a week at least.

There is a lot of scope to look through the past events that Aditya has written stories on and close other loops which they have not done so before. I do not believe there is a need for this marriage track just yet. Even if introduced at Thai juncture it’s too soon and won’t bring them the ratings they would want.

The story or angle of the our seems to be the need of revenge and creating a bigger rift between these two which we know stands no chance because no matter how angry they are they alway worry for the other and some how communicate all there truth without needing too.

See if they keep the track relevant and to the core of there relationship then it can be even better then some of the tracks we have in the past. It makes sense know why both st and gm were excited too 😊

Juvvi9- while I think there ain’t no marriage happening- I also know they are capable of literally massacring the show at this point. It has merely become an employment opportunity as long as it lasts. Everyone seems robotic, with scenes moving from one setting to other. This going on for 3 weeks now is enough indication they do not care. Logic was never their forte- now it has become a bigger mockery. No shaadi at this point.. later maybe. My theory is we are moving towards Malini ka PF/ AKT knowing the ultimate truth sooner than we think. It is quite possible Akt at that point is going to let Imlie go. He might even pretend that he is staying with Malini just so Imlie continues on her alag raah…. In that process we may see her compromising to marry ASR at some point- the shaadi will definitely not go through..

But at this point watch them kill the vibe/ feels that 300 episodes gave us! 🤧
