In the court, Ahilya asks questions and gets a map drawn of their farm. She asks what road they use, one brother says he uses kachha road from his brother's farm. She says that's illegal, because it's not in the will. Then explains that if he can use the road, then the other brother should be allowed to use the water from well.
They agree.
Ahilya says that that's their father's legacy, it's not about money or property. Their father would have loved to see them living together happily.
All applause for Ahilya, Khanderao agrees with her judgement. Gautama is upset. Gunoji tells Dhanaji Ahilya lost after winning, see someone's face.
The court is dismissed. Harkubai meets Ahilya and she tells that Khanderao called her to the court.
Khanderao meets Gautama who tells him this is not done. Khanderao tries to explain that he called her there and trusted her judgement. Gautama says she wants to see all cheering for Khanderao not Ahilya, doesn't mean she loves Ahilya less but she should not be in court.
Dwarkabai goes to meet the pandit and tells him about Ahilya's plan of widow remarriage, Pandit tells he will stand by Dwarkabai's side and not let this happen.
