TSBTSP TRP Week 45

The TRP of Week 45 is 1.0 slight increase from previous week's TRP of 0.9. Week 46 will tell us the new focus on Anjol is effective or not.

As expected. All shows are back to their usual TRP after Diwali. So this can’t be termed as an increase.

The highest TRP this show ever got was 1.4 and that was during the week Kajol broke off her marriage.

I think I have said enough on what the makers should try to do if they want some decent trps back. Kajol needs to regain her strength and fight back. That will create drama and interest for sure. And they should start Anjol love story asap. Show less of Noina, Chondana, Priyanka and Nani. More of Shreya Ayon and Arjun along with the leads. The CVs have tried everything else and nothing seems to have worked. Tu yeh try karke dekh lo at least.

But I am afraid that after how they have weakened Kajol, introduced sooo many unnecessary negative characters, and shown unbearable amounts of negativity, irreparable damage has been caused to the show and now nothing may redeem the trps. We shall see what happens.

Indeed they have tried everything and nothing worked so far. What they have to try out now is Anurag and Kajols story and Kajol regaining her strength back as you said.

At least they should make Kajol speak up to begin with instead shedding tears for useless people like Chandana and Noyna. And for heavens sakes can Kajol stop her Meri Maa ka jaap, becoz technically she is already dead for her mother, to kya rishta

Along with that they need to get the Arjun / Noyna marriage over with and start the paralell track of Anurag -Kajol // Arjun-Noyna-Shreya-Ayon track.

And can we see Anurag going back to Hospital again plssss ??

He is a top surgeon for heavens sakes, but nowadays he is more outside the hospital than inside.

Also showing the NGO from time to time won't do any harm, the kids are 10 times better than Chandana, Noyna, Priyanka and Nani

Nani and Priyanka crap need to go ASAP, becoz they don't contribute anything to the storyline at the moment. They are just waste.

Also they should stop bringing new characters every other week.

Like there was no need to bring Priyanka's friend, No need to bring Nani, No need to bring this Pushpa character..........just USELESS

Well the TRP is 1.2 that's what I have read and the show is gaining lots of appreciation..

Don't know what will be the character graph of kajol in the upcoming episodes but no doubt DR Anurag Basu is winning hearts by viewers esp after the confession scene..

Animesh G Bhaya one of the heads of Optimystic, the company that produces TSBTSP posted 1.0 and so did all the credible pages so obviously I will take the producer’s word for it.

Apart from that I can’t do anything about the viewpoints which refuse to see the potential danger this show might be in and want this show to be solely about anurag, and cannot bear the thought that the FL should be rightly given her due characterisation. Akele ager koyi character show chala sake tu chalwa lo.

Strengthening one character does not mean weakening the other. Restoring Kajol would not mean Anurag is weakened in any way. There is a thing called balance. Why must everything be a competition between the two leads? Trying to prove one superior to the other. I don’t get it. Isn’t it about the show and Anjol at the end of the day after all.

And to be honest the reason the show has lost TRP is because they have made the character of Kajol into a weakling and audiences might like the heroine getting bashed and the hero coming to the rescue a lot of times but then that becomes boring and they want the heroine to take a stand.

Kajol needs to shed the persona of a bechaari and become the embodiment of naari shakti. Anurag and Kajol's love story only then shall be meaningful because the partners need to have a kind of relationship where both feel like equals and there is no baggage and if Anurag keeps saving Kajol all the time then it won't be an equal relationship. She would always feel beholden to him.

Instead let us have Kajol for once come to his rescue and save him and help and protect him. She can help him heal from the wounds of his childhood and the loss of his mother, help improve his relationship with his father. Their relationship has so much potential.

I don’t see anyone being happy that Kajol is being portrayed as weak by the makers. Not anymore.

On Youtube, Insta everywhere people are cursing Noina and Chondana and feeling immensely sorry for Kajol and wishing for her to become strong and fight back and for Kajol and Anurag to get married asap.

And another complaint I constantly see is that there are too many negative characters on the show. Like everyone else is also irritated like us.

I don’t think that Nani and Priyanka are going anywhere. So it would just be a jump from one annoying duo to the other for Kajol. Hoping against hope that the makers get some sense.

Are people liking a weak Kajol though? I don’t think they are except for the scenes like durgo pujo and the confession scene, where people were really happy with Anurag standing up for her, I don’t see anyone being happy with a weak Kajol.

Nope even I have mostly read that enough is enough and that Kajol needs to speak up and fight back. For a few episodes it was fine, she was recovering from the devastation of losing her father but now it is high time that they get Kajol back to the form of the girl who confronted Shreya and also who asked Arjun to refuse the dowry or she won't marry him and then slapped him and broke off the marriage when she found out the truth after her father's death.
