Is VD scheming? To show Purab who should be more important to him?

Should one connect this to missing Hans too? I mean what if Hans is brought in to save the day? Now VD might consider Hans a better choice than Thapki as her bahu. So giving Purab his wish to make Hans the new face of Veena Records, she might be trying to compromise or rather setting a plan to chuck out Thapki from Puran's life.

PS:Thapki is looking so fresh and beautiful. I like this style of Salwar better.
