Power Rankings mean - how much influence they have on the show - how many friends and enemies do they have - how much they are favored by BB creatives, Salman and how much other contestants are scared of them.
11. Rajiv (Last week - #10)
Filler candidate. He is obviously not a threat to win or even contend for the title. Primary role still is to be Shamita's pet and add some entertainment.
10. Jay (Last week - #4)
Absolutely pointless. But for MG, he would have been thrown out ages ago.
9. Neha (Last week - #11)
One trick pony. Shamita and Pratik ke cheli. She is trying to add a new angle to her game by being an attack dog towards Karan and Teja but we will see how far it takes her. Maybe BB creatives will want to keep her around for some time more just to fuel that rivalry.
8. Simba (Last week - #13)
His head has ballooned up after Salman said he is adding to TRPs and has a huge fan base. The relentless cheating and favoritism from Salman and BB creatives now seems to be helping him as much as Shamita.
7. Vishal (Last week - #5)
Always on precarious ground. Has the reputation of a Narad muni and it is well earned. He will sell his soul for a cigarette if it benefits him. Smarmy and sleazy, like a snake oil salesman, he will always be slightly cornered and defensive but his survival skills can still take him far, even possibly to a finale berth. He's one to watch for sure.
6. Pratik (Last week - #2)
The enfant terrible of the house. Trouble-maker but that is what keeps him influential. He's always part of fights and makes his presence felt. He has a large fanbase and I still think he is guaranteed to be in the finale and can contend for the trophy as well. I think he has by far the most passionate fan base despite the several revolting acts he has displayed in the house.
5. Shamita (Last week - #1)
Remains the queen bee of the non-VIP group because of cheating, favoritism, etc. Is still able to command several housemates willy-nilly to her will as if they are her servants. That is a sign of power.
4. Nishant (Last week - #3)
Has a powerful frenemy in Shamita but is also beginning to assert himself and coming into his own as he begins to free himself from Pratik and Shamita's influence. Alliance to Karan also helps him.
3. Umar (Last week - #8)
Has steadily risen among the ranks and now made a name for himself among the leading contenders of the game. Has done so by slowly asserting himself and speaking up when necessary.
2. Teja (Last week - #7)
Still a slightly problematic contestant in that I think she doesn't quite speak as strongly but is currently allied to the most powerful person in the house and that helps her standing.
1. Karan (Last week - #6)
The king finally takes his rightful place. He's finally being more assertive about his stances and that definitely helps his standing. A powerful king is one who shows his power and Karan is definitely beginning to do that now.
