Why I don't want MaAn married impulsively

I know its been clarified in BTS that Anuj doesn't actually put vermillion on Anupamaa's maang, but many fans were disappointed and hoping they would have actually married. Here s why I would have seriously hated it.

I want Anupamaa to love Anuj as much as he loves her, he deserves that. An impulsive marriage which obviously doesn't have Anupamaa's consent right now, will not ensure that.

She will either break it off or "endure" it for the sake of "sanctity of marriage". But that will render the whole point of the show moot. The fact that Anupamaa didn't care for traditions to fight against injustice and cheating and for the sake of her identity will be disproven.

Even if Anuj is a great man, this marriage would still have been non-consensual.

MaAn marriage is vital, but only after they have love between them, not in this trashy way, and definitely not at the whim of Leela's orthodox toxicity

Yes let maan take their time as they solve issues together grow in understanding and then marry. Regarding Leela nothing Orthodox in her perspective....it is sheer unadulterated toxicity nothing else. She calls others nagin and buddiya . She is the most venomous buddiya.

Yeah if they had gotten married it would defeated the whole purpose of the episode where she and Anuj decide to be friends whether or not society likes it…

completely agree with you that they should get married after Anupama falls in love with Anuj.. that way we get to see her fall in love with him rather than simply following her duties as a wife !!!
