Member Topic: Do you follow your heart or your head?

So I was curious, in matters of the heart are you impulsive or do you use reason and rationality to measure even matters related to romance?

In short, do you follow your heart or your head when it comes to the important decisions in life?

I'm INTP.

I have never been able to differentiate between the two, honestly.

How do you guys do that? Genuinely curious.

I follow my taste buds. My heart doesn’t agree aur dimaag me toh kaam karna bahot pehle hi band kar diya tha.

As in are you more of a "act through your instincts/via impulses" or a "think/analyse well before acting?"

I am INFP but an overthinker, does that make sense?

Umm..I'm not sure ..I mean it depends ..sometimes you don't have enough time to think/analyse then you have to rely on your instincts, right?

Considering all the stupid stuff I have done in my life definitely heart. I’m very emotional, impulsive and intuitive. I make decisions based on vibes and how it feels instead of using logic most of the time. It does cost you in life sometimes it’s good to be more logical and practical. One thing I pride myself over is that I’m a good judge of character my intuition is on point regarding that. But many of my life decisions could’ve used more logic and patience.

Sure but in general when you take decisions for example? Are you more of a think rationally kind of person or one who'd be willing to take risks regardless of any implications? Or it could be a balance.

Lemme ask a question - it's pretty caricaturish but yeah: if you had a gunpoint choice, would you rather get married to someone who genuinely loves you or to someone that you love who doesn't love you back (but who could later, who knows?)?

IN matters of opposite sex I usually follow a different organ 😆
