Vicky and Parineeti will probably end up with all awards this year!

Maybe it's too early to predict but I don't think anyone can outshine Vicky Kaushal's performance in Sardam Uddham and Parineeti's performance in Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar. Vikcy was flawless in Sardar Udham and the same can be said for Parineeti in her movie.

So far the best performances of the year (male):

Vicky in Sardam Udham

Sid in Shershah (it was an above average perf. but his career-best)

Arjun Kapoor in Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar ( yes surprisingly enough he does rank up there)

Can't think of anyone else rn

Best performances(female):

Parineeti in Sandeep aur pinky Faraar

Vidya in Sherni

Sanya Malhotra in Pagglait

Any other performances you guys think deserve to be mentioned ( OTT and theatre combined)

I second this. She was so good. So many new expressions we never saw from her. She was so natural.

I think Saif in Bhoot Police could do justice here. Emraan in Chehre was good as well. The movie was blah, but he truly did a good job.

Siddharth seems to be the likely contender though for Shershaah. I mean the hype surrounding that movie and Siddharth was probably the biggest ever seen on SM, so they might go with him instead of anyone else. (And I'm not against it. He totally deserves it.)

I really hope Kriti wins for Mimi. She outshone this year in that movie.

Along the same vein as above, Kiara might walk away with the win for Shershaah. She outdid herself in that movie.

Of course some movies are still outstanding - Bunty aur Babli 2, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Antim, Dhamaka, SJ2, Tadap, 83, Jersey. So one of those could end up doing better than these movies.

It was so nice to see Emraan again but the movie was a bit disappointing...

Parineeti won't win peanuts..1st of all i doubt proper awards will happen..did that happen for 2020? and secondly winning in years like 2020 or 2021 is a consolation prize more like..hardly any contenders..and if they do..they are never going to award for a movie which could not even make 1cr..parineeti was awful in her other 2 movies and most of praise for sandeep is coming because she was not as awful as she had become off late..kinda similar to katrina's praise in Zero..when you are so bad that anything remotely good is deemed award worthy..kriti (though not the best) surely miles ahead in mimi

vicky deserves every award out there over overrated sid m they are not even comparable it will be gross injustice to vicky if they do not recognise the awsome performance he gave

its like neerja snd khaani/barfi releasing in the same year and somehow sonam winning best actress over vidya/pc that s just unfair

but parineeti i doubt vidya deserves the award more than her and even kriti

oh yeah the year tapsee beat deepu! i remember that..that was still more active coz we had movies till mar'20 at least..2021 has been worse..only now movies are coming and i find rani to be absolutely awesome from whatever i have seen so far..of course they never award her..so i am not hoping either
