Not a bad episode, today!

Ok so Birla family is becoming interesting...We got a better look into the various family members' motivations.. Differing personalities, conflicts galore!

So Parth didn't come across as somebody I can sympathize with.. His wife's points are more valid. I am liking her and the short glimpse we got of her good rapport with her devar...

Harshvardhan's thinking also is not exactly wrong or wicked.. We can understand where he is coming from. As also dr. Mahima.

Saw more of kairav.. all good.. But his calling manish bade papa is very irritating. Bachpan mein toh dadu kehta tha.

Rest, regarding Abhimanyu and akshu ki prem kahani, it was the usual bore fest with akshu's OTT scenes and dialogues of sacrifice and tyag.. Aarohi was shining more than usual today...akshara ka aarohi ke har mamle mein beech mein ghusna like how she wants to make the announcement about aarohi's selection jab ke use pata hai ke aarohi wants her to stay away 😳... Abhimanyu being friendly and confident for aarohi.. I don't know if it is really good direction or by chance it's coming across like this that there are very subtle undercurrents in this akhsu-abhi-aarohi story that almost gives me hope that they may not make aarohi into a typical vamp.

Won't it be a good story if they make it like while Abhimanyu is initially attracted to akshu but in the course of his longer interaction with aarohi in the hospital they come closer and he discovers he has feelings for aarohi too?! 😆 come on that would be so good..instead of two sisters fighting over him, harshad can portray a character who is torn between two women🤪

Don't get me wrong. I love strong ambitious female leads. As I said before so many times, Sonakshi from krpkb is my favorite female lead ever. And I loved Parth's wife. She actually comes across as a super cool journalist who is doing an amazing job.

Whereas in I honestly don't understand what is so amazing about Arohi. She is just another entitled spoilt brat with no self awareness whatsoever. She doesn't see anyone else other than herself. And yeah, Akshara is too much of a goody shoes but she does show possibilities for immense growth.

I also don't think they will make Arohi completely negative and I really hope they will make her arc a good one. And a big no. I don't want to see a male lead torn between two women as much as I don't want to see two women fighting over a man.

I like the present Abhimanyu. He is probably the only lead (from the shows I have seen) who knows what he wants and won't compromise for anything.

There was Arnav too in ipkknd who was strong actually in many love story focused shows male lead are strong.

I have said earlier that aarohi is not a completely good character. She has elements of both.. I want her arc to be going from a preponderance of the bad elements to that of good.. But the makers are obviously taking her downwards. That story would be nicer to see in conjunction with akshu's soft tyagi type gradually becoming stronger and standing up for her own interests, instead of the two in collision. From what we have seen of aarohi so far, she is driven to be on top... that discussion has been quite exhaustive in another thread.. I just don't know how she comes across as entitled? She obviously works hard for what she wants in order to be first in everything?

Rahi baat Abhimanyu ki toh I have only seen a couple of indian serials.. But from what I've heard and read male leads are always sure of who they love and what they want so what's special about Abhimanyu? I guess two-timing male leads are also common but I meant the kind of sensitively portrayed story where there is no dhoka..only a mental and emotional dilemma...

Agree agree and agree. There is not one episode that Aarohi doesn't shine, there is also these undercurrents of chemistry which were both a surprise and relief.

Despite everything, I have a tiny flicker of hope in the corner of my heart that Aarohi wont be turned into a complete vamp.

Male lead mostly become confused side pieces to the FL as the show runs on. I have seen very few ML with a spine. I love your analysis and agree with everything but the part where Abhimanyu should be torn between the two... I cannot stomach another pendulum as a lead 🤪

@bold: I am not able to read properly Mahima's character as of yet. Does she like her sister? But seeing her supporting her DIL was refreshing. She is an actress who can act.. So I am sure they are trying to make her slightly bad.. I really hope it is not the case. It was formulaic but still as you said we can understand where they are coming from.

Just like you said, Parth is someone we can not connect with. His wife came across as the Arohi many wanted to be. Ambitious, sweet and sour depending on the person she is interacting with. Well, I am sure they are going to do something in future to show Akshu being the glue. But for now, I really wish If they went to couple counseling.

I actually do not feel that Harvardhan's POV is wrong. Yes, it is nice to be charitable. But You have funds to help poor people then you can be more efficient in treating them. And with more funds you can help people who are in need. And how do you get these funds? Giving the best treatment to the rich clients.

@blue: I actually did not find Akshu-Abhi interaction much boring but there is nothing much to say. It was a typical cute scen... the over used cliche of Fl falling into ML's arms.. But I actually liked Akshu-Arohi interaction actually nice. Maybe because I am an elder sister myself, But the happiness you receive when your younger sibling achieves something was realistic. When my bro's results came, I was ecstatic. I was telling each and everyone about it. I gave my office colleagues unlimited pizza party. So when Akshu was being happy, I was getting flashbacks of my days. Actually her announcement was good. Arohi was again feeling that Akshu took her limelight away but Akshu gave it back before the matter get worse. I don't know.. I liked it.

Regarding the scene, Abhi being confident about her selection, I actually felt like that was a jab at his Dad's preference more than a compliment to her... At least that was what I felt.

@green: Good idea! But there is a safe and unsafe way to portray it. And sadly I have seen many many unsafe way of execution of that story arc. And for that All the characters need to more than 2 dimensional. It is possible.. but hard. It they want that kind of story they can do it now.. but not later.. But seeing the story and its direction.. It is not going to be that complex of a story.

Anyways... Overall.. I liked the episode.. But still Day by day I am getting less interested.

The usual Precap..: It is showing 'iss ravivar' How the hell these things are happening so much fast.
