Fateh may not be a Vanraj for many (although for me both are similar in many ways). But it won't take long for makers to turn him into Vanraj Shah and TRP aunties will support that too. Because that will bring high voltage drama. Core story of this show died the day they started an EMA with Jasfa and ruined Jasmine and Fateh. Now it is all about Tejo, with Jasmine as vamp. Fateh is just another ML (or villain) as per the makers' decision.

even though he has cheated, ema has been shown repeatedly on itv. out of so many ema shows, this one is kinda mild.

so, viewers will except and accept a redeemed fateh

a lot of these aunties have seen/ faced such issues where the husband goes "astray" for sometime and then comes back, but usually without a lot of remorse.

so if they can show fateh in pain and crying and repenting, and then a nice love story, trp aunties will accept it.

Shruti considering the kinda horrifying unequal relationship desi people have in marriages, most women will be ok with their husbands if they just had an affair rather than the usual saga. In that short period F was the perfect husband. Yeah we can say the bar for men is low, but F is gold standard compared to vanraj.

Well he is still redeemable and many are waiting for it, even on this forum. I don't understand what people even find in this guy (except feeling bad for the actor). He is all I, me and myself. I will stop watching this show the day they decide to whitewash this moron and make Tejo take him back.

exactly. women in the subcontinent are not independent. they are completely dependent on the husband and thats why have had to accept all that is dished out to them. parents refuse to support in most cases.

now with the younger generation, with girls working, being independent, open minded and questioning of the old order, things will improve, fingers crossed.

also, many girls from a young age have seen their mothers, aunts, sisters compromise and adjust and accept that as the truth. secondly, they are instilled with the notion that keeping the family together is their responsibility and hence they also learn to keep quiet

This is just exaggeration acc. to me. Only good thing about Fateh, that makes him different from Vanraj is that he was a supportive guy once upon a time. Otherwise, he has pulled a lot of stuff Vanraj has done too. Let's not forget the way he treated Tejo after marriage. He didn't turn to complete Vanraj because Tejo is no Anupama. She shut him up and showed him mirror when he tried to act smart, something which Anupama couldn't do. All these ITV MLs (except a very few) are all assholes who think the world revolves around him. TRP aunties mainly watch this stuff to see the OTT drama and FL winning over everyone.

Next few days i have some personal errands. Moreover i write when i am in the mood.

They started whitewashing him post ema, the day his responses to situations differed from Jasso. The way entire story has been going on, it's pretty much clear that he's going to be redeemed. They could have kept the grey shades, the jealous angry tirades against Tejo, but they diverted from that. Jasmine has been manipulative, while fateh has been supportive (as much as he can considering the mess he created) towards Tejo. Several incidents, scenes had no importance but to show that F is good at heart and he has feelings for Tejo. (Execution and story was pathetic imo, but that's what several scenes intended post ema).
