Anu vs Vanraj - Toshu slap

Not long ago Vanraj slapped Toshu on behalf of Anu for saying a lot of crap about her. So my question is why is this slap different? and how will Toshu change?

Vanraj loves Toshu and Toshu looks up to Vanraj - If Vanraj slapping Toshu did not stop him from continuing to spew venom will Anupamas slap stop him?

She has been his support system and the person who speaks to the children after every crisis. Also the one who spoke to Vanraj giving him the reassurance he needs. She spoke to Leela whenver she was in a mood to listen about alternate perspectives. Vanraj had only been a provider, pampering P1&2. Anupama has been the one fulfilling their needs. Her slap and the words you are henceforth only your father's son may not change him and he might continue to blame her but atleast like her severing ties with Vanraj, this could be from her side a realisation she doesn't have to put up with his bad mouthing.

Not only does he badmouth his mom but also the friend who supported her always.

Both need a refresher course at parenting...

It might be too late fir Vanraj but Toshu is still young and could do with better guidance and someone he could look up to.

though I havent watched this particular slap from Vanraj, I’ll go with my hunch that Vanraj did it to show off wheras the slap he will get from Anu is out of sheer guilt of her parenting failure.
