I will have to disagree though. Akshara's first impression is weak and it is not wrong. She is weak. Her long monologues of being mahaan, her being emotionally dependent on Aarohi. More so, I find Pranali's acting extremely annoying, she is unable to get into the character and despite Karishma being new, she outshines everyone around her.

There are no layers, see any typical FL you will find the same characterisation.

Aarohi's drive to be one is not because she is a narcissist by nature. She has always been second best, from a young age she has seen her mother being treated like a replacement. That is why she has this need to prove herself time and again. Her need to be number 1 is due to overwhelming pressure to prove she is enough, that she is good enough! This was hinted at by Aarohi too.

If we do consider layers, I feel Aarohi is the one that has layers and not Akshara. Akshara is they typical FL. Self sacrificing, the goodie two shoes. While Aarohi has so much to her. She is ambitious, a doctor, she knows what she wants, she has a drive, she is flawed (human attribute).

Her trauma is being over looked because of the shape it has taken, while aarohi garners all the sympathy not only from the goenkas but ask the viewers because her trauma hast taken a more conventional form. The reason Aarohi projects her anger is because no one helped her deal with her childhood trauma. She is immediately reprimanded, like within seconds if she speaks out against akshara. No one can understand or even begin to empathise with the reasons behind that.

This is one thing I don't think is right. Matlab, take it all out on Akshara when the adults didn't help her. That's not right ever!

She is narcissistic. ( We will have to agree to disagree 😆)

A person who can never be happy unless everything is about her. If RS is going the re-make route. Arohi is going to show her true colours. It ain't gonna be pretty.

Wow!! Brilliantly said!! Kisi aur ko dard dene mein life bitao toh bitter hi rahoge aur kabhi khushi nahi milegi. That is exactly what Arohi does, she forgets that she has a life and family who love her, all she cares about is her hatred of Akshara.

That's why I have a hard time feeling any sympathy for Arohi.

I am glad you liked my post.... I don't hate Aarohi, I understand her but I kind of pity her....

Maine aaj tak mainly Harshad sir se bohot kuch seekha hai par ek cheez hai ho maine har ek actor se seekha hai... Ki jo aapke pyaar karte hai wo jo aapse nafrat karte hai , uss se kai zyada maayne lagte hai. Aur main ye cheez Akshara ko seekhana chahungi. Ki his ghar mein aapka bulava na ho uss gali jaana nahi chahiye.

Aur Aarohi ko main bas aazad karna chahti hu... Uss dard se jis ke wajah se wo dusro ko hurt karti hai... And also Doctor voctor Bano ... Wo ladka jo aapse pyaar nahi karta uske peeche apni padhai, rishte, efforts waste mat karo... Khud ki bhi respect karo aur uski na ki bhi...

I don't hate Arohi that's too strong a word. I simply don't like her. Let's hope as the show progresses both sisters would realize what's right and what's wrong. Kya karna chahiye aur kya ignore karke aage badhna chahiye.

Its been one week

I don't see both characters as strong women as of now, especially not Arohi because she has had a rather sheltered life, there's whole family around her who loves her, she is a topper and she had everyone behind her to encourage her

Not belittling her achievements but as I said its been one week, how do I know that Arohi is independent strong woman when was she independent? Maybe she'll be an independent strong woman in future

She is educated.. I agree with you there

Akshara lived away from her family for 3 years and she is educated too, she has panic attacks and she is vulnerable but we have seen her dealing with her panic attacks too, she is dependent on whom?

She lived away from her family for years...This puts her ahead of Arohi in the independent and strong category

The thing is that we have this idea of women where we think we need to pitch them against each other and make one look better by comparison

Both women lost their parents at such young age, its difficult for both of them, the pain is not more for one. Their flaws come from their childhood

Akshara is too much into Arohi because her dying mother asked her to take care of Arohi, how can she not fulfill last wish of her dying mother? Whatever she is tolerating, is not her being a doormat but her love and respect for her late mother

Arohi has issues with Akshara, She is nice to everyone else

To answer your questions, a strong woman is not the villain, None is villain right now. Arohi and Akshara are too new to be attributed with adjectives like strong, ambitious or independent

It's an all out Abhi Akshu story.... actually I feel Shahi ji is quite obsessed with remake of bengali serials. This is one of them. This story actually had a lot of following amongst bengal youth. Even though its a love triangle its heavily refreshing because of how strong a male lead is. Its not Akshu vs Aarohi... its going to be Abhi's love for Akshu vs Aarohi.

Also I'm loving Abhi Akshu ... ab I'm once again hooked to yrkkh
