This interruption is creating a lot of deep pain for them and this interruption has brought a child (atleast for now) in their life. I don't think all that can be dismissed just like that.

MS, sindoor, rituals are not base of their relation but they have some value. If these things had zero value then they wouldn't be so excited for it.

There gestures had zero value when Adi was in relation with Malini, but with Imlie he really cherishes these things and wants to enjoy them in their truest form (like he said in ring finding ceremony) so Malini did dent KC , it was a small thing so they recovered.

But Malini will leave very deep wounds in this phase and it will need a lot of healing..

I totally agree, it comes down to a form of unintentional hypocrisy on Adi's part, honestly.

If someone like Prakash were in Imlie's life, someone who loved her at some point or still loves her even if it's unrequited, and that man pulled even the most minor stunts like the mehendi one, Adi wouldn't even have consulted Imlie - he would've straight away kicked him out of their lives for good. It is easy for him to preach to Imlie all of these philosophies because there is no man 'competing' with him for her affections (throwing Adi's words back at him fair and square ) He's the one being squabbled over, so he's taking the liberty to tell Imlie what she should and shouldn't feel.

This is exactly why I hope whoever the new entry is comes into the picture not to actually threaten adilie's relationship, but to get close enough to Imlie even platonically so that Adi gets a loud wake up call. It would be even better if Imlie remains oblivious to Adi's insecurities and doesn't bother to appease him. When he finds himself standing in Imlie's shoes, he will realize why he's been wrong to dismiss Imlie's feelings all along.

Totally agree. I mean Makers are going to extra length to show how wrong Adi is but when we point it out, we are wrong.

I will again iterate I understand Adi's majboori but I don't understand him dismissing Imlie's pain as waham. That girl has accepted your child someone else's womb. What else is expected of her. Or great undying love means not caring for these boundaries as well.
