I want Imlie to leave on her own. Ab ki baar vishwas ka diya toot hi jaye. Its time for SM to be back from vacation to protect this diya. Waise bhi Diwali par to SM vapas aa hi jati hain.. Hope serial main bhi aa jaye.

I want to throw a flower vase on Adi's face but he really is majboor till he sees M's reality with his own eyes, mutiple times, ek ek kar ke. Ek baar or ek baat se iska kucho nahin hone vala. If makers are not planning Imlie's NDE then I think his realization will be a slow journey.

I hate this "main majboor hu" vala phase. I hope ye dono itne majboor ho jaye ki saath reh hi na paaye.

It would be nice for once to see a strong female character not possessing super human powers (like they characterized Imlie) but just a normal, strong woman with good conviction!!! While I really like Adilie for the cute moments and the romance, how wonderful woukd it be to show Imlie as a strong woman with a ton of self respect to stand up against a bully of a husband. To tell him that she doesn't need him if he can't even treat her decently. This would be in such a contrast to the supposedly educated, previleged, classy Malini who needs a man and will stop at nothing to get him, while Imlie, with her traditional ideas about Sindoor and shaadi and all that, is still able to walk alone, by herself. That is what Adi should find attractive and go after, instead of stupid tropes!

One more thing that really irked me in yesterday's episode was Dev's tone with Anu, that "tum toh karva chauth nahin maanti ho", as if believing in the practice is some kind of amazing quality and AC is somehow lesser than Meethi becauase Meethi believes in the ritual. Did it ever occur to him that Anu probably doesn't want to fast because she doesn't really find him worthy enough to fast for and couldn't care less if he did not have lambi umar?! Similarly the trope that maa kuch bura nahin kar sakti hai. As if if a mom prioritizes her wellbeing over anyone else's, she is not an adequate mother.

I wish our tv shows outgrow these regressive tropes at some point and get on with changing times!!!!
