In my defense- taking one for the team

Yup, I joined the forum post Anuj’s entry like quite a few others and unlike a few who have been ardent fans of the show from the beginning.

I wont apologise for being a MaAn/Anuj fan or for wanting MaAn all the time but I do understand it must be irritating to see posts on MaAn all over the forum which you may feel trivialise Anu’s struggles or her staunch character.

I understand and am fully aware that the show is about Anupama and her journey through life and Anuj is only a small part of it, atleast for now. So in my defense and I guess I’d be speaking on behalf of a fairly large group of members here is that in no way do I mean to derogate or play down Anupama’s character or her journey of struggles, though I am guilty of using humour, but that is never to demean her issues. I do appreciate her now and again, perhaps not enough but I do.

I know it must be a little tiresome and probably annoying too to read contrasting views and receive constant brickbats but the forum thrives on MaAn, the larger TV audience doesn’t, the show and the character was popular before Anuj and has only gotten better or fresher (for the lack of a better word) post his entry.

Everyone’s welcome to post their views and opinions, from members who have followed the show from day one to newbies who have just joined today. We can all agree to disagree and enjoy the show in harmony, though I don't think we’ve reached a point where we’d need to call truce but just felt a bit of friction so thought of sharing my honest views.

though people are craving for maan for last two episodes and wekends and me too but today though there was no bench scene as all anicipated but the growth has happen today anupama freely mentioned anuj as his friend and support system with her close ones how freely she told aapki galti nahi hain umar bhar maine yeh kiya hain apni galti na hote ue bhi and honestly her talking freey to him in front of his mother brother and son is itslef a growth and today though people feel there was not maan moment but for me uit was and there growth also they way hois mother and brother praise him accepted him and atleast they were having normal conversation rather than same drama repeatedly

And yaar i studied ur post today abt anu's mom baashan and then went and saw the epi. I laughed during that scene remembering ur words 😂😂 but actually T'was a very empowering scene as u said 👍👍🔥👌👌

All of us are entitled to our opinion. Yes the forum is alive after Anujs entry and here has been some progress in story line thereafter otherwise it was rinse and dry very repetitive like the Bashans and taunts.

Each of us brings a perspective and each perspective is a valid and significant feature of any forum. Man scenes are very interesting and a lot of us wait for hotstar to upload it.

Some predictions though seem a bit out of place like a Maan kid. Badhai ho Badhai was a good laugh yet not sure if it is possible or in line with the Meera image.just my thought.

Heena love your takes you pick gems to highlight. The forum is where we all can rant about what we liked and what we didnt. It brings in diverse perspectives and adds pep to the discussion.
