I personally don’t think anything good has been happening since serendipity entered, I do think there were a few topics I think had potential and which could’ve been explored and could’ve shown a bit extensively.
- Of course the core of S3, which was the difference between a couple after the honeymoon phase in their relationship.
- Marriage counseling. I found those episodes extremely interesting and enjoyable. The vulnerability that’s needed between partners, the trust, the difference between falling in love with someone and loving someone.
- Mental health care, focused on the male gender. Remember how Dev started his anxiety pills again. That track could’ve been written a bit better IMO, it felt so rushed.
- East Indian racism angle, I LOVED Ziden (no idea how to spell his name) & his track could’ve been executed a bit better too, his problems with his father, being beaten up unnecessarily. Such a missed opportunity.
- Remember the glimpse of the old Ishwari we saw when Dev told her that he’s opening a school in memory of Asha. Although I must say that this track we’ve also seen in S1, I do think that they could’ve handled this topic as well briefly.
- Neha demanding her share from Dev’s property. She literally asked once and then everyone forgot about it, I mean hello excuse you.. talk about this? This is a real issue for many families. KRPKAB has the power of handling these topics rather well.
- Ah, the loneliness Rohit’s parents felt after Aayush left their home. How are they coping? Loneliness in older people is a fact.
Any more topics left untouched? I keep saying this, but what a waste of a great, talented star cast.
After this topic I’m sending my CV to DreamWorks in the hope that they pay me for writing a script 10 times better than we had to tolerate.
