We are supposed to think that she understands shiva and loves him the way he is.

A universe of their own, where they're able to blur out the rules made up by the society around them and live as they please. They are free to crib, fight, taunt. exert their right upon one another, and show vulnerability, which is a rare sight but it happens. It's part of their dynamic. The softness Shiva displays towards her is different than what he has extended towards the other ladies(Suman/Dhara) in his life. Similarly, Raavi's spitfire attitude comes out to play when Shiva is around/concerned. They bring out not only the worst (usually the anger that accompanies them) but also the best in each other. You can see that in how Shiva mellowed down his behavior when she returned - he observed from afar what all she did for his family, and became a bit more tender. For Raavi, her small monologue today showed her progression. She acknowledged that he refused to change for anyone but her tone also showed displeasure, not only for the fact that she thought he changed for Disha, but also because it seemed like she wasn't okay with him changing himself. She told Dhara a while ago she didn't have any problems with his appearance. She has grown.

They are able to bring out a side of one another that may not have been possible if they would've been, let's say hypothetically, with other partners. Is it ideal? In the real world, maybe not, but in fiction, their world is absolutely enchanting. They may not always be at the best behavior, but that's how they are. Their relationship was never rainbows and sunshine and it's what makes them quite unique. I love it, and I love them.❤️
